Disappointed: Stopped working after 6 months

Got these as a gift. Would rate at a 4 for 6 months... But now a 1.They were my first pair of bluetooth, wireless headphones, so I didn't have anything to compare them to. I liked them, sounded pretty good (and I own 2 sets of Bose headphones, earbuds and noise cancelling over ear headphones)But 6 months in, the have stopped working - they connect, but then cut in and out repeatedly. It's happened multiple times now - I know they are charged and have battery. It even shows on my phone that the battery is charged.So, I'll be looking for another pair, I guess.

Won’t last long...

So why the one star review? It’s a great product. But they’re not even 4 months old and already won’t power on. Yes they’re charged. No they won’t turn on. They died in the middle of using them. I used them on deliveries to take the mind numbing silence away. No hard use. Just dead. Oh and battery life is really around 5 hours. Product works great when it works.ETA: Anker has sent me a replacement pair. If they last longer the review will change. If they die in a few months we will see what happens.

On time bust

I got these at a great price, product showed up on time. But then I open them, fully charged won't turn on won't do anything.

Sound Crackles Like Broken! 1st unit on second wear, 2nd unit straight out of the box. BOO.

UPDATE: I rated this two stars to begin with (see original review below) and am dropping to one star after replacing the first unit.Straight out of the box the sound is crackling like the've been dropped and have broken wires inside. And I'm just sitting at my desk, not running or doing another sport as these are rated for! What a shame. These were fairly comfortable and stayed in, but if crackling interrupts all sound, it negates every other amenity because they're for listening and communicating, not just walking around with something stuffed in my ears.I have a bluetooth Anker speaker I've been happy with so thought this was a solid company, but these are just terrible. Greatly disappointed. I'll think twice next time before buying another Anker product and if I do will only do so with caution. :(ORIGINAL REVIEW:The sound crackles horribly and the speakers sound broken after just two wears, my first during office work and the second during an indoor three-mile run. All I can think is that sweat got in the speakers and damaged the components: But these are SPORT earbuds and billed for things like running. The ad even pictures wet earbuds, saying "Sweat it out in the gym or run in the rain," so I'm frustrated.These sounded decent (until the cracking), stayed in during my run, didn't kill my ears, and overall were comfortable, so I'm going to exchange these for another pair and hope the first was just a fluke. If the second one does better than the first, I'll up my two-star rating. I'm really hoping that happens because so far I've liked Anker and this earbud design is the best I've found so far.

Great sound but horrible range!

Sound and fit are good! Range is horrible. If I walk 5 feet away it starts to cut out. Also when making phone calls, the calls drop while on full charge.

Hair in my box!?!?

I can not attest to the quality of the product and have never had an issue with Anker before, but when I opened this box there is what looks like shaved facial hair scattered throughout. Might be a returned product?Will update with their response.

Music cuts out if Bluetooth source is in motion at all. If you are purchasing for workouts, save your money.

Don't waste your money. These earbuds will consistently cut out if the Bluetooth source is in motion (i.e. running with your phone on an armband). You will get one second of music and then one second of silence. I went back to my much older and cheaper ear buds and they can stay connected consistently with no problem. It is a real shame too, these are the first earbuds that I have tried that actually stay in throughout an entire run with no adjustments. They also sound pretty good when they are actually connected.
