It was great until it ripped…

We bought this in 2020 but only started really using it daily this year, around April. It became one of my favorite ways to workout and my husband got into it as well. He started using it more frequently at the end of Aug. Two days ago, one of the parts ripped off while my husband was using it. He’s tall, but skinny. We are not heavy people, but even if we were, the product is supposed to handle up to 450lbs. Not sure that’s true. We are super disappointed :(

Missing Parts

The Mini Trampoline was missing:1. "Triangular Screws" - tighteners for the handle bar are the wrong size; the handle bar is not secure.2. One of two bottom bushings for the handle bar - fear of scratching floor.Otherwise okay.

Wrong part sent - can’t use handlebar. :(

Overall the trampoline seems good: it’s sturdy and quiet, and set up wasn’t too difficult, once we figured out how to attach all the bungees. HOWEVER… it appears we were sent 2 on the same handlebar poles, instead of a right and left pole. Which means we can’t use the handlebar. :(

Assembly Nope

The assembly was hard and I was not successful. I somehow managed to have a bungee slip off while I was stretching it with the tool and the metal frame bounced up and hit me on the head. I gave up after that. Please be careful to anyone assembling on their own.

Sturdy frame, VERY difficult to assemble, clips are plastic that hold the bungees

This trampoline is INCREDIBLY difficult to assemble. I'm 6'2" and it took me well over an hour to assemble. I was exhausted when I finally got it assembled. I followed the directions exactly as written and it was still incredibly difficult for me to get every bungee onto the clips - from the first one to the last one.Once assembled, this seems very sturdy. The frame is very sturdy and made of steel. However I am concerned because the clips that hold the bungees to the frame are made of plastic. I have used this several times the first week, but have felt concerned trusting my full bouncing weight to this. Instead I have been jogging in place or hopping without leaving the mat. I will continue to use and update if there are problems or if it holds up well over time. There is an optional rebounder by this company that has a handrail. I wish I had purchased that option first, as after feeling a bit unsteady I wish I had that option. It is unavailble for separate purchase that I can find. So if you think you want one - I suggest purchasing the Darchen with the handrail included.

Assembly nightmare!

I can't offer any information about the product itself. I haven't gotten a chance to use it because I can't get past the first two bungees and the assembly instructions are no help. Anything this difficult to put together should just come already assembled. IF ever I am able to put it together, I will circle back and update this review.Update: A friend who owns a gym and is the strongest person I know offered to assemble it for me. She ended up enlisting the help of two fellas---one client and one staff member. She said it could've been done alone, but it would have taken considerably more time & was much, much easier with others there to lend additional brawn to help with bracing the frame and pulling the bungees to extend & fasten them. (As I live alone with my cat, I had no such assistance on hand at home.) Anyway, now that I have gotten past the assembly and have had a chance to use it, I absolutely LOVE this mini trampoline. It is very sturdy and springy, and it is perfect for exercising. I am adjusting my initial one star review to a three star. Were it not for the difficult assembly, I'd give this product a five.

fun but not great

This was by no means easy to install. You will need some serious muscle to pull all those bungees, even with the provided tool. Make sure you go across, one by one, and do not just work your way around. Also, a little wobbly with the legs. I didn't feel it was particularly safe and I returned it.

Decent while it lasts, but should be more durable

I liked this trampoline before it started breaking down. I wish it were built to a higher quality standard. It only lasted for about a year before the stitching that connects the bungees to the mat started ripping. The metal frame is rugged enough and held up fine, but when the bungees started ripping off, it made the whole trampoline useless. Darchen should do one of two things – either strengthen this stitching (as a point of failure), or at the very least sell replacement mats (separately from the frame).*** Update: I was able to find a replacement Darchen mat.m, which I just ordered. Hope it fits, as no dimensions were included in the product description.

Not easy!

Putting this together was not an easy task. The bungees are very scary and dangerous. Fingers hurt and watch out for the bungee if it slips.Once getting it together it’s a nice product.
