Bought this lamp and fell in love with it before I set it up. Couldn’t get a standard light bulb in. I can only put in small 40 watt light bulb in. I was thinking that they might’ve put the wrong part in when assembling it. Or it could be that it was a return for that reason.

Very disappointed!! Who makes a lamp with the cord coming out of the top. It is so cute otherwise. I don’t know if we should take the chance and try to drill a hole in the top and reroute the wire. I came back here to read the reviews I hadn’t read before we bought it. I haven’t even gotten to the point of checking to see if a lightbulb fits or if the two I bought match in color which were other complains. I’m just flabbergasted that someone would make something so stupidly. It has such a potential for being a best seller. It saddens me but I think we have to return them. ☹️

Good grief! Loved the lamp but the isle of misfits put it together. The cord could have easily been threaded through the bottom! Just why?

Hated that the cord comes out from the top, looks terrible! Such a shame as it is otherwise a great looking lamp.
