Love the results but drys my hair a lot!

Ok, so the iron is great but remember when crimping hair its best on fine, thin hair. Not so much for thick blond hair! It poofs out and not so sure that was the look I was going for! Looked fake, poofy and felt weird lol. I found out the hard way

crimps really well, but only last about 5 hours max. i liked the next day look with my old crimper but this one completely flattens out by the next day.

Gets very hot, even on low setting. Scary, returned after one use.

This crimper gave great volume but made my hair look incredibly frizzy and unprofessional. I have fine, below shoulder length hair and it just didn't give me the results I was hoping for. Maybe I needed to take smaller sections of hair because it covered up all the straight hair underneath and didn't highlight my look at all. Also, it dried my hair out and gave it a rough texture. I'm hoping that the more I experiment with it, the better it will work out for me. It does heat up nicely though and it's great quality. Who knows, maybe I'll figure out how to use it better and then I'll start liking it.

I bought this crimper as a gift for someone but ended up keeping it for myself becuase she got a crimper before I could give her the gift. I've never owned a crimper before but lately I've seen some fun looks that I wanted to try. I set the iron on the highest heat setting (I have straight, medium-thick hair) and I feel like I burnt my hair. I didn't think the iron was too hot to hold, like some other people have said. The crimps are somewhat small or tight but they produce great volume! The next day, the crimps still looked good. I don't know how often I'll use this product, but I think it's a great value.

Do I like it? Yes. Is it what I expected? No. The product works and it looks like the item in the picture, HOWEVER, the crimp does not come out as shown in the picture with the model. The crimps are much closer together and not as defined. I have used it a few times now and I do not get the same crimp as seen in the pic. In addition, while the crimper works, it was assembled or stickered incorrectly as "ON" is "OFF" and vice versa. Good thing there's a light that works in the "On" position so you know for sure.
