Works great. My only beef is that it is very hard to determine how hot you are making it with the lame heat adjuster they have on it. It would be way easier if it was numbered 1-10. Instead, there are these black dots which are impossible to see. Other than that, works very well. I have long, fine hair and I use it to make my hair look fuller (I section off the top layer of hair and then crimp only the roots of the under section. Then I let the uncrimped top layer fall over the under layer.. makes my hair look much fuller and you can't see the crimped area).

If you want the traditional 80's look of highly crimped hair this crimper is the way to go. Beware though, this gives you a very crimped look. This is nothing close to a waver. Some people are saying it gives you a 'little girl look'. This will make your hair big and somewhat frizzy. I have 4 little girls and they simply love this look. I even put 4 small crimped pieces into the top of my hair which was also incredibly cute. The handle does get too hot though, one down side that you have to watch out for. Upside, it's very hot which makes this a quick job. The size is also nice to speed up the process.

Love this crimper! Cost is very reasonable. Once you crimp your hair - do NOT run your fingers through it or the hair will look frizzy on the ends. Recommend using an argan oil type of hair smoothing product with crimper to decrease frizziness.

So 90's so cute. My seven year olds loves getting her hair crippted. I told have gave 5 stars but the crimps are to small not like the crimped I had as a child with big crimps. If I have time I use to add volume.

It’s been years since I used a crimper. But when a 90’s pub crawl beckoned this was my “phone a friend” 8 ladies in one house for a Nashville bachelorette party and it did it’s job. Now my kids get a lesson in 90’s hair!
