These socks were warm enough as long as the temp was above freezing, but the heel on all four pairs of socks that I bought in mid-January have holes in them from wearing. These socks are not worth the money. I had to throw out all four pairs because they cannot be repaired and still fit comfortably.

I was not at all impressed with these socks. In what way are they heat trapping??? I wore one of these on one foot and a wool sock on the other foot all day in a cold house. These failed to keep my foot warm. Also one of the answered questions said that a women's foot was size 9.5 and that the socks fit her perfectly. That's my size!!! I thought I'll give them a try. WELL THE SOCKS WERE ABOUT 5 INCHES TOO BIG IN LENGTH. BUT THEY WERE FINE IN WIDTH. IF THEY WERE WORTH $24 I MIGHT HAVE CONSIDERED CUTTING THEM DOWN AND SEWING THEM. THEY AREN'T WORTH MORE THAN $2.00 AT TJ MAX. I SHIPPED THEM BACK!!!

Socks seem to keep my feet warmer, but the sock do not stay up. They keep falling down to ankles. Soon as you pull the socks up for the first use to your calf's, they stretch out and fall to the ankles. And I have small calf's ... I will try and buy the other brand of thermal socks.

These are overated! My husband works on the dock and he said these do not work!!

The area in the front of the socks are not made well and susceptible to developing holes in the toe area, after minimal to moderate use. The socks should be of better quality especially in the front of the foot, reinforced to prevent this occurrence. In spite of the other qualities in the product, this is a non starter for me.

I’m always cold so I decided to get these sucks. Such a waste of money. They are not warm at all. I wear indoor and my feet still cold. If you’re size -8 don’t buy. They’ fit perfectly my husband. He’s a size 11

I did not open up the package. Until we were on vacation. One of the socks had a large hole. We were on a ski mountain so I had to use the second one

Each pair has 2 small nylon filaments passing through to hold the pair together. These filaments are always annoying but the Polar Extreme Men's thermal sock pack brings on a whole new level of annoyance. These filaments with the stop tab on each end get buried deep in the fibers and cause a pull of the knit every time I open a new pair. Cutting in the middle of the filament to separate the 2 socks is a start, but getting each piece out of the knit is difficult and always results in pulling the knit. I love the socks but this nylon filament is enough for me to buy something else next time. I'd do something better if I were in the QC of this company. AVOID!
