We really love the look and feel of these chairs. They were easy enough to assemble. The cup holders are key. The one big negative is that after just a couple weeks of use, the seating has bowed and we cannot slide the foot rest back in. I guess it’s fine just staying out but we’d like to keep it in most of the time and just pull it out during lounging times. The surface also get very hot. We always have to lay towels down during sunny days.

I ordered two of these chairs. They came in two different shipments. The first one was great! Heavier than expected. Easy to put together. The second one arrived broken either from shipping or a defect in the chair. except I didn't notice until after putting most of it together. The box the second one arrived in was mangled and ripped in half a dozen places, unable to be returned in it. I notified Amazon and they sent a replacement. Again, the box looked like Ace Ventura had delivered it. But the chair was not broken at all. Sooo.... great chairs, great customer service, use better quality shipping boxes??? For shipping a chair that heavy, it could've used a lot higher quality cardboard and better wrapping internally. I found the directions extremely easy to follow. The chair is comfy to me.

Very easy to assemble. I like the pull put foot rest. You just have to pull it out before you sit on the chair otherwise the seat deflects enough to make it hard to pull. Only 4 stars because we have not had it long enough to judge the impact of weather. I first got one for my wife and liked it well enough that I got one for myself.

I bought 2 of these chairs to put on my back deck to enjoy my fire pit. I needed something that can handle all weather conditions from full scorching sun to inches of snow. I have no doubt these chairs will be staying put on my deck no matter the wind gusts. I was able to put it together myself, but having to lift 44 lbs of chair was a struggle for me. The product photos portraying an easy carry is a joke! I am happy they folded down because I put it together in my house and there was NO WAY I could fit it out the door if I didn't find it. The ability to fold it is a huge bonus. The cup holders were an excessive feature to me, but easy to install. The footrest is what adds more weight, but it is a really nice feature. Wish the back angle was a little more comfortable, but some pillows easily fixed the issue. I've sat in many Andirondack chairs and some are comfortable and some not as much. Not a huge deal breaker in this case and would still highly recommend. Everything was nicely packaged, including directions and tools. Getting the pins into the right spots in the chair does take patience and tinkering. Hoping the materials stand up to Mid-Atlantic weather!

Replaced a wooden Adirondack chair with this one back in July. Just got around to putting it together 2 nights ago. I did open the huge, heavy box when I first rec’d it to make sure all the parts/hardware was in the box. Shoved it agst the wall for a few months. Pulled it out to assemble. Couldn’t find the directions. I’m pretty handy & put furniture together quite a bit so I didn’t worry too much. Noticed they had instruction videos on line. Perfect. Started following the videos. Pause. Watch. Pause. Got through the arms, decided to finish it the next day. The pausing of the video was getting to me. Found the instructions in my nightstand while getting ready for bed. Yippee! However, the video instructions are different than the written instructions. A lot different. But I got it together with a little common sense. I’m in my early 60s & put it together by myself without any problem. However, I did carry the bottom out to where the chair was going in the yard & then brought the back out & attached it. It would have been too heavy for me to carry the finished chair from the garage to the backyard. Folded up the chair is heavy so I won’t worry about moving it until next hurricane season. I got the chair with the extended footrest. It’s beautiful. Holes lined up. Really easy to assemble with directions.
