This is an attractive set of clear, hard plastic containers. I had some difficulties taking apart the lids for washing and reattaching them (hence the 4 stars). Perhaps it's just me. Once hand washed and dried (and lids finally assembled), I filled about 4 with dry goods: flour, rice, macaroni and egg noodles. The remaining are the smaller ones that I haven't decided what they'll contain. They are airtight and sit/fit nicely in my cabinets. I didn't need to use the labels and white felt pen. Not sure how they would hold up for the next washing. The containers are slim, sturdy and the right size for our small household.
