Didn’t match the hype for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The over packaging, the sleek design, mounted holder, carry case and charger are great, very appealing. Another feature I love is the 30 second pulses to work all 4 sections of your mouth separately. Kind of stinks that once you mount the holder it literally can not be moved. I also feel like the bristles are too short, they do not get a good grip on my teeth, I have to scrub extra hard to get down by the roots. I also feel the rubber bristles and the normal bristles do not mesh good together, they irritated my gums and made my teeth feel less clean.

Only vibrates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using an electric toothbrush of a different brand previously where the brush head moves and rotates to clean the teeth. The new Quip electric toothbrush does not have a moveable brush head. It gently vibrates when it is turned on and the vibration has no effect on the bristles. The 2 minute timer is helpful to keep track of the brushing time and the pause at 30 seconds is helpful as well. The brush comes with a charger and a storage case that is convenient for travel. There are no settings to adjust the intensity of the vibrations. A full charge of the toothbrush lasts for 4-5 days. Considering the effect of the gentle vibration, I don’t feel much of a difference in ease of brushing compared to a manual toothbrush.

Cute but not everything I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really wanted to love this, but it wasn’t as particles. I thought it would be. It was more of a burden. I definitely does a great job cleaning, but I feel like I can do a lot more and more conveniently with a manual toothbrush.

Not powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an electric toothbrush user I must first say that I love the design and that it does not require batteries. But unfortunately I will use this as a replacement for my travel toothbrush only. It is not powerful enough for everyday use

Good for sensitive teeth, kids, and travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is a really cute toothbrush. However, it really does not compare to a Sonicare as there is just a bit of vibration. It is preferable to a regular toothbrush and I think it wood be a good buy if you want an electric toothbrush but have super sensitive teeth and can’t tolerate a Sonicare or Oral B. It also would be a good choice for a child or teen. Lastly, it’ would be great for travel. I would not recommend this for someone used to a Sonicare, but it could be a good choice for others who want a step up from a normal toothbrush.

Good, but not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a sucker for sleek, matte-finish products. Make them in black and I usually keep them for life. However, this all-black, elegant quip toothbrush failed to wow me apart from its looks. It unfortunately does not compare to my Sonicare as there is just a bit of vibration. It would be perfect for sensitive teeth, but mine need strong vibration to feel clean and to do the job. I would still most definitely use it for travel. I would not recommend this for someone used to a Sonicare, but it could be a good choice for others who want a step up from a regular, manual toothbrush.

Great, then stopped working.

I did really love this toothbrush, the vibrations were gentle enough for my sensitive teeth, and it cleaned really well. I only got to use it for 4 months before it completely died. The light came on to charge it and then after I charged it up during the day, it’s never turned on again. Now it’s just an expensive manual toothbrush… :-(

Regular quip toothbrush is better

I had a regular quip toothbrush with batteries and it was great. I had it for probably 4 years and thought it was time to upgrade. This one was fine for a bit but I just got my first head replacement and the button doesn’t line up right and it’s nearly impossible to push to turn it on. It also dies way too fast. My boyfriend has a Phillips rechargeable toothbrush and he only had to charge it once every few months. The quip one needs charged like every other week. Thought I was upgrading but I am not happy with it.

Expensive manual brush

It worked well for the first month or so but then the battery cartridge started coming loose. It was easily replaced by the company but then that one ended up coming loose again.
