The bristles aren't hard they are pretty soft. I love how you can get rewards for brushing your teeth. Great idea to get the kids brushing like they should.

Charging it is great...I haven't had to recharge yet and I've been using it every day for a couple weeks. I downloaded the app Quip, which is very easy to use. It monitors your brushing habits and you get points for this, which you can use to buy other products. The toothbrush is very sleek looking. It's also not bulky, which other electric toothbrushes are. The vibration is there but is not overbearing. My wife wants one of these toothbrushes now!
