Very happy with this purchase. Originally wanted a watch to use only during sports, but ended up using it full-time because of the great features for everyday monitoring. I was on the fence between this one and an Apple Watch, but the 10-day battery (or up to 2 weeks if you don't do a lot of sports) is a great advantage of the Garmin. Obviously the Garmin has less apps, but this is the perfect combination for me between a a great sports watch and the basic functionalities of a smart watch (alerts, health, audio controls, etc) without all the annoying clutter. The only thing missing is the ability to load music or podcasts directly to the watch.

I have been keeping an eye out for an upgraded multi-sport watch for a long time and finally decided on the 935. I found them a bit cheaper on Amazon than on retail sites so was worried when I saw some negative reviews. I confirmed with the seller that it was the ROW (U.S.) and not the Asian version. Haven't had very long but everything so far seems to work great. I downloaded the latest software version from my computer no problem. Downloaded an additional watch face with Connect IQ. I like the feel of the watch and that the face is "always on." Will update review after a couple months of use.

Lasts for over 2 weeks on a charge, with about 12 40-minute runs over that time. I like the non-cradle charger. I do not connect via Bluetooth or use the HR feature much except during runs. It automatically uploads the run to Garmin over WiFi when I get home and then I use the Garmin Connect app to view the run. I like the configurable watch face so I can get the time in large numbers without a lot of icons on the screen (but you can add many icons if you wish). I like the feature to automatically turn on the light during an activity when you raise your arm, so no need to press a button to light it.

I have had the Gear S3 Frontier for about 2 years and am getting serious about doing an ironman so I wanted to step into the Garmin world. I had struggled with this decision for a week, Fenix 5 or 935. Only had the 935 for 2 days and it is so worth the money. I tried on the Fenix 5 at Best Buy and I just love the active look of the 935 much more than the "stylish" and much heavier Fenix 5.I do think the actual screen display size could be larger. Only con.Used GPS for a total of 3 hours in 2 days. Opened watch out of box at 89% and now its only at 78%.

Received it 6 days ago. As others warned this is the APAC version. New update installed yesterday...ver 9.70. Overall it works but it’s had a few problems with Bluetooth losing connectivity before the update. After the update wrist HR stoppped recording history until Watch was restarted several times. Testing for a few more days but not sure this 935 is staying on my wrist much longer.Update--- Called Garmin support - verified advertised item number (amazon's site) compared to what I received - wrong item was sent. Garmin agreed to replace the Amazon purchased Apac with the ROW version I intended to purchase. Excellent support! EXCELLENT! Received my new Garmin 935 and couldn't be happier. Best activity/training companion ever.

Love this watch! I use it mainly for biking and hiking. The battery life is amazing and is an overall wonderful watch!

I’ve used Garmin and Apple Watch in the past; this gives so much more data. If you are serious about training, buy it. The battery last well over a week..if you hike or camp, buy it. It is light weight and looks great. If you breathe oxygen, buy it.
