Sometimes it latches, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m sure only specific parts of the belt latches on. In which might not be the best latch for your specific size. Make sure you don’t cut yours too short. Get what you pay for. Not the best. But there might be worse.....might....

It was used as it was intended . My husband used it a dress belt to hold up his pants

The concept is great, with one major flaw. The belt peels after just 1+ month of regular usage. I saw some of the reviews where this was mentioned, but decided to give these a chance anyway. I have two belts and they have both started to peel.

Good belt. However it is a bit stiff. Properly cured leather is not that stiff. Not sure it is 100% leather. Outer facing seems it is ready to separate from inside lining .

nice belt. Wish it was a bit wider though.

This is not as good as the first belt I bought. This one didn't have the size markings on the inside. I cut it to the same length as my first belt, but the track is in a different position. When I put this one on it's a bit smaller since the track is further back than my first one.

Good belt. Did not have any issues with ratchet system. But the belt is kinda thin so carry stuff on my waste and the belt is not that sturdy

The strap is thin and flimsy. Plus, several times while wearing it I brushed against the buckle and it unfastens. It does, however, adjust to the right size.

I’ve purchased ratchet belt before at Walgreens from as seen on TV for $19.95 and they were much thicker leather look to be a lot more durable but that doesn’t mean I don’t like what I purchased from you folks
