I have pushers this product 3 times for a really large tummy scar. But to be honest I haven't noticed a slight or sight of improvement. wouldn't but again

I've been using it for just over a week and 2 days so far its Okay...I have noticed a very very miniscule difference when i take a close look at my scars (From spots and mild acne) but I think that's a placebo effect and me just imagining it, I pretty much still look like Scarface (well I wish I looked like him but you get the joke). I have been applying it regularly and consistently not missing a day, but so far not any noticeable difference when looking at my scars normally at a distance. Although there hasn't been any negative side effects like burning or rashes or anything like that so hey that's Pro - 1 to you Mederma, But i'll keep trying it till I reach the end of the tube and update this review if it works or not. I'm hoping I notice something on Week 2 like everyone else has said here even if its just a small difference.

Was bought for hubby’s keloid scar after triple bypass but unfortunately didn’t do any good

I have very sensitive skin, but my surgeron recommended this for my surgery scars that were not healing well. It gives me an itchy rash so I would not recommend to those with sensitive skin.

Just began using Mederma. Don't know yet how effectively it will perform.

I'm sorry to say that I've been using Merderma on some facial scares from some work I had done on my face recently and I haven't seen any changes. It might be too soon to tell.

I purchased this product based on glowing recommendations of coworkers. Per the package directions, the product requires up to 8 weeks for new scars or 3-6 months for old scars with a thrice daily application for it to work. I have mixed feelings about that as after that lengthy period of time I have found that my body does a pretty good job of healing itself and i am not always near a mirror of face wash 3 times per day for all those applications. Anyway, in my use of this product over the past two months twice per day (but sometimes only once per day), I have noticed some improvement in the color and look of my facial scar. However, I began treating the scar with hydrogen peroxide, neosporin, cocoa butter and my typical face wash, exfoliation, toner and lotion. (After all of that who knows what was actually making the difference!) But since adding the Mederma to the equation I must admit that my scar does seem to have started diminishing and fading more than it was doing without it...so I can't say anything bad about the product--no itching, flaking, acne flare ups or other adverse reactions either, which the skin on my face has been prone to in the past with unfamiliar products. But that's as helpful as anyone without such a complex daily regimine will find this review to be.

it would be better if i had MedermaPM to use with it. it may work faster that way. but i had a dark acne scar around my beauty mark on my face and it started to fade in a week or less.
