I have purchased several portable pet vacuums over the years, and this is far and away the best. It's relatively quiet, the suction power is strong, and it doesn't damage fabric. You only need one pass, and it gets all the hair. Big props for this product, and to Bissell for being such an awesome supporter of placing homeless dogs.

Would buy again great for stairs

I didn’t realize just how bad my previous handheld vacuum was until I replaced it with this one. This Bissell vacuum works great! Plenty of battery life for small jobs, picks up cat hair and dust - I can use it on the stairs, couch, cat trees, car interior, everywhere! I’m glad I paid more for this one instead of getting a cheap one.

While this is advertised as a pet hair vacuum, I purchased this for use on stairs and it has worked great. It is lightweight and easily maneuvered, and I have found it's an excellent solution for getting the stairs vacuumed without wresting with a full-size vacuum. It is simple to dump and the filter is easily accessible for cleaning.

I researched a bunch before making this purchase. The main thing I was looking for was battery life. But it came with a lot more benefits. It is easy to empty, the turning brush on the attachment makes the pet hair really easy to vacuum. The suck is pretty powerful as well. One thing I would like to see would be a way to hang this on the wall, to get it off of the floor. Overall, this has not disappointed at all.

I absolutely love this vacuum. It does a great job picking up dog hair which saves me so much time.
