Plastic melted the first time I used it. Was on the highest setting. Had to turn it down. Seems to work ok but overall not impressed due to the melting issue.

The idea of this product is awesome but it is super bulky and the first and only time I used it, the plastic started burning!

First off my hair smelled like burned plastic while using it and for hours after, 2nd it stopped working even though it was hot. I got half of my head done and it didn't work anymore. It's a shame because the waves I got looked good. I returned it the next day!

This product was a waste of money did not like the outcome perhaps that's why it was 20.00 and you can't return since the packing is in plastic and tears so oh well save your money.

I don't get it. Doesn't make waves in my hair and I followed the instructions. I have thick curly hair, so I used it to straighten it by quickly going through sections, which worked. Then after it was straight I went through doing the instructions for the waves and it just looked like diluted crimps. Waste of my time and money.

I really wanted to love this. I read SO many great reviews, and watched so many video reviews and tutorials, but it just did not work out for me. My hair is shoulder-length, SUPER thick and naturally wavy. I typically either straighten it or curl it. I thought this tool would give me the beachy wavy look I was hoping to achieve. Following what so many people recommended, I twisted the sections of hair before putting them in the waver. Doing my whole head of hair took probably double the amount of time as straightening or curling it, and once it was all done, my hair was BIG. Like 80's big. NOT the look I was going for. I thought I would sleep on it (both literally and figuratively) and perhaps once it loosened up a bit I would like it better. Wrong. The next day was even worse. It was so frizzy and still big. Looked like a poodle. I was too embarrassed to wear it to church like that so I ended up pulling it up in an elastic. I couldn't bear to even attempt this tool again, so sadly I returned it. It seems to be great for so many people, but unfortunately, it wasn't for me.

Pros: gets really hot, does create some type of wave Cons: awkward to hold while trying to style your hair, creates strange waves that are more like angles in your hair (not natural looking by any means) Or maybe I just don't know how to use it correctly. I'll probably keep practicing.

My hair is medium length and thick. When I used this waver it made my hair frizzy and way too full. I think it would be better for thinner, longer hair. And like the other reviews it did steam when I used it. I returned it. A curling iron works much better.

5 stars for the perfect waves and 1 star for breaking after 3 uses. When it did work, it was exactly the wave I wanted. I have a lot of fine hair so I tried to put it in the middle temperature setting. I crimped no more than 2 seconds and didn’t crimp the ends. It was so fast and I loved the waves. But breaking after 3 uses and having had it less than 2 weeks, not acceptable. I am hoping I can get my money back. I will not be buying another. Extremely disappointed!

This made my hair frizzy and the wave didn’t hold whatsoever. I’ll be returning it for sure.
