I like that it's black rather than that dirty off white color of most surge protectors. I use this for my computer and so far, so good!

I have an old power strip in an awkward place and when I saw this one on Amazon, I knew it would be just what I needed. It's too hard to explain, but where I had the old, long one made it difficult to access, but this one is perfect, it takes up less space, plus it has 2 additional outlets and USB ports. I had plugged in a fan, but was able to take off the plug and use the USB port, which worked great! And, if you prefer, you can hang this from a wall. Not what I need, but it is a great feature. You also get a grounding indicator, something the old power strips didn't have. This is so very convenient, and the manual is helpful. A win-win. Replace your old surge protector with this one.

Purchased for the flat plug and wide spacing on outlets. This item works in all regards.
