works well but it’s not really sound canceling

Had these before. Works perfectly on planes. Only issue is, after a few years, the material that touches your ears begin to break/flake/rub off.

Bought for a flight and it did a decent job of drowning out plane noise as long as I was listening to something else. On their own they don't block out much noise, you need to play something to facilitate that.

I have had these for about FIVE YEARS with no problem. They fold up in my carry-on backpack and have survived countless flights. The only reason I am looking for new ones is because the covering over the padding is starting to peel alway. But that is to be expected after so many uses on flights. While they are noise reducing, the are not noise-canceling. After a cross country flight, they do get heavy on my ears. Overall, they are good quality for the price. Don’t expect the performance you would get from a $300 set of headphones. But do expect a good quality that will last a while.

What a great well-priced pair of headphones. I recently flew from LGA to Arkansas, a three hour flight, and these headphones allowed me to have peace and quite the entire flight. It does come with a AAA battery, but will work even if it dies on you. Everything sounds fantastic through these, music, movies / tv shows, audible, etc. I will buy my wife another pair.

They are okay. Have a nice sound.

Useful and good quality for the price.

These headphones are definately a must have and the noise canceling feature works great. They are extremely comfortable and you get a good feel to them. A little bulky but they are much better than these other headphones on this website, especially that skullcandy crap. The only thing im worried about is that these headphones only use one AAA battery at a time, and i'm not sure how long it takes for the battery to run out.

I got these headphones for a very long flight and they are comfy and work well. If you compare the noise cancellation quality to high end headphones it will not cancel out 100% of noise but does a quality job in my opinion. If you are like me and use your headphones rarely and dont see the need to spend alot on a nice pair then I recommend these but if you are someone like a daily commuter and dont want to hear annoying phone conversations and screaming babies on the plane, train or bus then you should opt for a premium headphone because these wont handle those extremes.
