I have three of these Auto-Vox units. One was the older model with the strap on rear view mirror. All work great; however aesthetically the T1400 is superior. One T1400 monitor only lasted about 3 months, but Kaya in customer care was very responsive, a replacement monitor was shipped, and it works great. This setup was very helpful to my daughter as a new driver of an older vehicle. The install is very straight forward.I have nothing but praises for the product and the support provided by Kaya and the entire Auto-Vox team.

I literally use it every single day, the installation was very simple & easy! It has made my older car so much more convenient! It truly helps me feel confident in parking in reverse, safe at night and I have never had an issue with it yet. Kaya from the support team was able to assist me with ensuring I have the latest model and she made me feel valued as a customer.

I’ve had the product for 4 years and it’s still running smooth, had one issue on camera quaility issues and contacted support. Kaya was happy to help and sent me a fix for free.

The mirror and camera work well. It was installed in a 2011 Honda Civic. The mirror was easy enough to install and run the cabling under the window's top edge and behind the rubber strip on the side pillar along the door frame and behind the glove box to the power outlet. The antenna is mounted in the trunk close to the back seat and the camera is mounted behind the plate with power coming from the taillights. There is a little bit of flashing of the screen when in reverse but it's usually pretty clear and steady. My only problem was not having the proper adapter to make a tight fit to between the mirror mount and the windshield. But, Kaya at AutoVox was helpful and had one shipped to me relatively quickly and since placing that adapter the mirror is very steady.

Good picture quality and wireless works great. Had a problem with original unit but Vicky with Auto-Vox customer support was amazing and so patient and responsive. Helped me troubleshoot and fix the problem. Great product but even better support. Buy with confidence!

The camera and rear mirror work perfectly.Kaya in the customer support department was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose a small issue I had.

After my initial review the company reached out and offered a replacement of some newer and improved items from their product line. I chose a fully wireless system and it was shipped to me within three days. Totally above and beyond customer service from Auto Vox. Updated to five stars. The install was touchy and it killed the majority of lights on my left side and I had to replace them. Not a big deal, they were all over 5 years old. The new ones didn't have an issue. My problem with this unit is the mirror itself. Even after tightening every allen head in the system, it vibrated so badly it was annoying on straight smooth highway, and useless on surface streets. I've returned it as there is no way to tighten the ball socket on the back of the mirror. That's where the problem is.

The T1400 Upgrade Wireless Backup camera has proved to be an excellent choice. The night vision, picture quality, video quality have all proven to be excellent. The viewing angle is also extremely helpful in noticing pedestrians walking behind the vehicle.A big thank you to Kaya for reaching out to me assisting me with this upgrade, many thanks, Kaya !!

The unit arrived in within days of ordering. Quality was outstanding. Whole unit feels very solid. and well built. Installation was a breeze. Picture quality was outstanding. I tested the range of the camera from the mirror. I was a good 50 Ft or so away and picture was still outstanding (no lines or interference). Actual mirror was also outstanding. mounting options included were straight forward and easy to accomplish. I would recommend this unit if you were looking for an easy to install and use backup camera.

At first I thought I made a mistake in purchasing this item. But after I looked at it again, I managed to make it work. Works good and nice to have. Especially when I back into the garage, due to items I don’t see on the floor, as I back up. If you are handy you can hook this up with no problem. The transmitter is within the back door of my Hyundai Elantra GLS. With in the plastic molding. With a little heat on the button rear view mirror holder, you can remove it, and replace the button mirrorHolder, to use the back up rear view mirror, if you have a Hyundai.
