Fun for adults and kids

The smell is nice and it is fun putty. The texture is not quiet like the orginal but it works. The container is attractive. It does not obviously open. You need to twist not pry open. This would be a nice stocking stuffer or the like.

Really great for aromatherapy

I work in a stressful environment and handed these out to my doctor team. They have 6 different scents, all serving different purposes (peppermint to suppress appetite, lemon for energy, etc). It's silly puddy, so you can roll it into balls and bounce it all over the place if you want to. We all find it great for fidgeting and aromatherapy - super cool idea. Recommended!

Nice Concept, Great for working stress out of your hands!

First it was a workout just to open the little plastic tub the putty was in, you need to squeeze at the center and work it open. I opened two of the fragrances, the tea tree one and the coconut. I did not care for the tea tree smell but the putty was easy to work with, squeezing my hands open and closed. The coconut one smells wonderful, not over bearing but lasting. This the perfect gift for anyone who spends a lot of time at the keyboard, they can play with their silly putty to work the kinks out of their hands.

Scented "Stress Ball" Replacment

I ended up liking these more than I thought I would. To be honest, I really bought these for my children to play with but I ended up deciding to keep them and not share because of how therapeutic they are for me. I keep one in my purse for me to mess with when I'm in social situations. I have social anxiety sometimes and it's nice to have this to mess with. It's kind of like a stress ball in that you can squeeze it. The scents smell nice and I like the variety. Some of then didn't sound very appealing to me but I really liked them after opening.

Cool Stress Reliever

I like this product. It is really a cool stress reliever. There are 6 scents including my favorite which is clove. I also like the lavender. There is also Frankincense, chamomile, coconut, and Tea Tree (which happens to be my least favorite). I have not played with Silly Putty in years, but it brought back memories of when I was a kid and played with it. This aromatherapy is a nice addition to rope in the adult audience. I could see this being a cool gift to give friends and family as well. I work in a high stress job and so this item is going to get a lot of use!

like the stuff OTs use!

This scented putty is similar to the "thera-putty" that professional occupational therapists use. It is a soft grade putty. The scents included in this set are chamomile, lavender, clove, tea tree, frankincense, and coconut. Each is a different color and has a colored case to match. The tea tree is the only one that doesn't seem to smell much like the real thing. I love the smell of cloves and was happy to see this scent included. The frankincense seems an odd choice though, as it is not very common to hear of it outside of Christmas stories! This is a fun product for fidgeting. It can also help with rehabilitation for a hand injury, though it is soft and will only help with very basic flexibility and strengthening.

Adult Silly Putty

I was amazed when I saw there is now Silly Putty for adult. It is now called a relaxation putty for adults that comes in different colors and with an aroma to match the colors. The aromas are Lavender with color to match, Coconut with is white, Chamomile which is yellow and a blue which the scent is not pronounced, It said to include six scents but only four were in this box.I was never a fan of silly putty as it was a rage when my children were still living at home. Any new fad always was a big seller and Silly Putty was no different. It will be hard to predict if this new adult aromatic putty will be a fad with women, can't see this going over with adult men. It is a clever idea and I am sure young girls will think it is great. I will keep it around and give some to my great granddaughters. I am sure they will love to aroma and play with the putty.Crayola aromatic colorful putty is a new idea and many times a new fad starts out strong but fade away to another new idea.

Very strong scent

Crayola Aroma Putty comes in six separate containers. Each with its own relaxing scent. The putty feels like old school Silly Putty. It’s easy to manipulate but still gives resistance. The putty really does help relax a busy mind. But it also helps arthritic hands. And for me, it helps build strength for my golf grip. My son has autism, and he also loves these. He finds them very soothing.I really like the consistency of the putty. However, the scents are overwhelming for me. I can’t get the scent off of my hands after multiple washes. I have asthma so I don’t like anything with so much scent. However, the putty itself is fine.

Now that I’ve grown up....

I’m just not sure this Silly putty is really appealing and who is the target market? I’ve heard that it may seem be beneficial to adults and maybe children requiring hand therapy and it does smell really good.I grew up loving and playing with Silly Putty, like over 50 years ago and It still bounces, floats and snaps! It used to come in an Egg shaped container and had a unique kind of weird scent that I liked. I was amazed when you flattened it out and pressed it against a newspaper and was able to get a perfect duplicate imprint. Apparently this doesn’t happen these days because of the changes in newspaper ink. Too bad.Getting back to the product: The little containers are screw-off but hard to open as I had to open the first one with a knife. The scents are really good though and in a world of more exciting electronic toys, if you could get a child to like this very simple item, they might actually have some fun.

better than a stress ball

This is a cute idea, and its certainly more satisfying than a stress ball. I never liked stress balls very much after the first squeeze or two. Somehow, this silly putty is more amusing to use than a stress ball. The scents were an interesting addition to the usual silly putty formula. You may remember that glow in the dark silly putty was a thing when we were kids. Lately, the putty market is all about adding more features. You can buy magnetic putty, clear putty, UV reactive putty... and so this idea of adding a scent and calling it "aromatherapy" doesn't seem so strange in that context.I'm not sure that the aromatherapy angle really works. Using silly putty as a delivery system for good smells doesn't seem like a natural idea to me. If they were using some actual healthy oils, like vitamin E, then I can see where it would be a good way to knead the Vitamin E into your hands. But these scented silly putties don't try to be all crazy like that. They are just what they claim to be: silly putty in some new colors, with some added new scents. And they come in a much more "attractive" plastic box. There are so many scents included that I feel maybe they would be good in gift bags for bridesmaids? Certainly its more scents than one person would ever need. The good news is that I'm sure that these will be much less likely to end up in your sister's hair or in the carpet.
