Beautiful containers and a variety of scents. Some smells are more powerful than others. Coconut is very calming and not too overwhelming. Lavender is quite strong smelling. Cloves is quite overwhelming and way stronger than it needs to be. Scents could be more subtle and would be more affective, as they are they are actually too overwhelming to be calming.

Way too expensive. I'm sorry but no putty/ slime should ever be this much. It should by most be 2-3$ a piece especially for the size. It's a complete rip off. Don't waste the money when you can make your perm for much less.

I don't recall the brand sold at toy stores, but this is a poor copy.

I honestly got these for my grandchildren because I remember playing with Silly Putty when I was a child and I would play for hours. So when I opened the box I got several surprises. First the little individual boxes it came in were very hard to open, not at all kid friendly, not even adult friendly. The individual scents of the collection was mixed for me I didn’t like all of them, but not everyone likes the same thing. Again not child friendly. Also the formula of the Putty is not the same this one is more for just squeezing ,hand forming and smelling. I would like better with other scent options.

Not the most pleasant smells and the way they're all packaged in the same box makes the different scents mix together. Would also be nice if I didn't have to smell them through the box.Six individual aroma puttys are included but it would have been helpful to me if there was a pamphlet inside explaining how each scent helps. (Example: X scent helps to ease anxiety, etc.)

I got this for my daughter, very specifically because it would be silent - unlike the horrific fidget cube she likes to play with everywhere. I dreamed of something she could fidget with that would be silent...perhaps with a nice, calming scent. It is silent. It's kind of fun to squeeze.AND THE SCENT WILL NOT DIE!!!!Seriously, this is overwhelming. She started with the lavender one. I could smell it across the room. It filled the car. The scent lingered on her fingers, getting into her hair when she touched that. I made the mistake of squeezing it. Even after washing my hands, I still smelled it.And I sneezed...and sneezed...and sneezed. If you are not scent sensitive, these should be fine. They're fun to squeeze and blessedly silent. If you're the mother of a teen boy whose room smells like a locker room, hide one of these in his drawer or closet. But for me, for the love of God no more scent!

As a kid, I always wanted Silly Putty, but I never got any so I was eager to try out this adult version. I was thinking that this was meant to be used something like a stress ball. I find it more soothing to flatten it out, fold air into it, and then make it pop like gum.I liked some of the scents better than others. I liked the clove, coconut, and lavender. The chamomile is okay, but doesn’t have much smell. I liked the tea tree and frankincense the least. Tea tree is medicinal and annoying. I found the frankincense to be headache inducing.CONS: I detest the way the scent clings to your skin. I can wash my hands and the smell continues to linger.3 STARS: I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone who is sensitive to scents. I definitely wouldn’t recommend opening all of these at once. The smell is overwhelming. It does seem to fade a bit over time. It’s that or I’ve learned to ignore the scents with the exception of the frankincense. I find the scent very irritating.

I always loved putty when I was a kid. So when I saw this, I thought my kiddo would like it as well. Of course, this is much more fun than the pale beige putty in the red egg we used to get!The putty does smell good, but I have noticed that all 6 of them kind of smell the same. There isn't a huge difference in the smell even though it says there should be.One problem that we had was that the color came off on my little ones hands. It wasn't a ton, and it wasn't super bright, but it was definitely there. Which in turn transferred to his clothes. The biggest problem was when he accidentally stepped on it. Once I got it out of the rug the color remained. But it did finally come out with a lot of cleaning product and elbow grease. Now the good part about all of this was that it is a crayola product, so it did not stain and wound up coming out of everything. And it may be unfair for me to lower the stars... since the vast majority of it was user error.... but it just caused me a little too much stress and work for me to give it 5 stars.

I grew up on silly putty. That was the most fun you could have at the time for $0.49. It stretched, it bounced, it made perfect copies of pictures in the paper or funnies. I even enjoyed the original smell. The marketing on this seems confused at best. Aromatherapy and silly putty are very incongruous. I randomly opened the cinnamon variety (which was way more difficult than opening the classic egg). It smelled very nice, and obviously the color was altered. It does not make pictures from cheap newsprint, although that may also be a function of the darker color.I suppose I’m just left asking “why?” I enjoy aromatherapy and recognize its benefits, particularly for those with sensory issues, on the spectrum, etc. But I’m not sure the marriage of aromatherapy and silly putty is a necessary one. If aromatherapy is the main driver, there are better ways to deploy it, such as diffusers or pendants. If it’s a fidget toy, there are tons of other options, or just use plain old $0.99 silly putty.I guess at the end of the day, there’s nothing wrong with this. It’s just peculiar, and at the price point I see listed, I’m not sure it will appeal to many.

Let's understand from the get-go that this Crayola Aroma Putty is simply scented Silly Putty and nothing more. The same stuff we used to use to copy newsprint with or simply squish between our fingers is now offered in something of a boutique style with "reviving" aromas for various moods. Yeah. I guess. The scents range from subtle to strong and, while there is some tactile benefit in handling the putty (at least for me and perhaps for other children who need such stimulation to help with self-soothing), the aromas did nothing for me, and the long-term benefits of squishing putty or rolling it in my palms or kneading it wore thin fairly quickly. For starters, unlike other tactile products, this putty leaves a residue. You can't really use it and say, use your computer or handle certain things because of the residue transfer. You'd need to wash your hands. This kind of defeats the portability and utility of the product. I can go grab a squishy ball or any other ASD targeted device and get the same benefits. On the whole, it seems like Crayola is going for a niche audience, but this product has too many short-comings to really do the job. Nice idea, but not great execution.
