The sides are barely reinforced, so I'm wary to use them as checked baggage. I can use the biggest one for international travels and the smallest one for domestic flights as a carry-on. All of them rolls smoothly and the retractable handles have hight adjustment as well. I love the fact that everything fits back into the biggest luggage so when I don't use them, they don't take up too much spaces. It does have a little bit of plastic smell but bearable. Over all it's a nice set.
