Such a great buy for the full size bottles! Normally, the mini bottles cost at least $10 at beauty supply store. As long as it's applied properly, you will have no issues with lifting. When removed properly, gel polish will not and should not harm your natural nails. I use either the complete gel polish system or the gelly "sandwich" method along with the red carpet manicure led lamp. I would also suggest purchasing the gelish remover - it's much more gentle than acetone & removes very efficiently. I also purchased plastic nail clips and cotton ball pads (on Amazon). For removal, gently buff away the top coat and saturate cotton ball and use the clips to keep it in place. Wait at least 10-15 minutes. I keep it in place until it has litetally flaked completely off. I also do not buff my nail plate before or after polishing as constant buffing can excessively thin the nail plate. As you can see, my natural nails are in very good condition (no peeling, breaks, etc) and I've been using gelish for well over a year. Using alcohol plus the ph bond to dehydrate the nail and the wear should easily last 2 weeks.

I wore acrylic nails for years, hated how weak and thin my nails became and switched to soak-off gel polish. In the salon, a gel manicure is $35+. I got really tired of paying such high prices for a fairly simple service. So, I decided to buy this kit, an LED light, soak off solution, and a cuticle pusher and do gel manicures myself at home. This product is the real deal! The full-size bottles have high quality brushes that glide on like a dream! The cuticle oil has a lightly fresh scent and soaks in quickly leaving your nail beds looking and feeling healthy. So easy to use, apply thin coats for best results. Gelish is my favorite gel product out there. My manicures can last up to 2 weeks! *in case anyone is curious, my nail color is "Let's Be Friends" OPI gel. Another favorite! 😊

I've always enjoyed doing my own nails, but was a little hesitant about the whole at-home gel situation. I've done acrylics myself, but gel (with all the added products and techniques) seemed pretty intimidating. After a bit of research I decided to try this lil set since it had all the starter components I needed. Bonus! They are all full sized bottles. No minis. Thank goodness... Did my first gel-acrylic set on my natural nails (which tend to break, bend and tear smh). How'd I do it? 1. Clean hands, buff natural nail lightly and push back/scrape cuticle filminess off nail. 2. Brush on Gelish dehydrator....dehydrate the HELL out of that nail. 3. Grab that sexy Gelish foundation gel and apply to that thirsty nail. Kind of rub it in using side to side short sweeping motions, avoiding the side of your nail. You don't want to get it on your skin. Not cuz it's acid, but when it dries that bad boy will lift up like a Lee Press-On nail from the 90s. ***Be sure to take one nice sweeping stroke across the tip of your nail to seal that thing down*** 4. Take some acrylic powder, and generously dust it over the whole nail. Cover it....cover it good. 5. Process under your LED lamp. Dear gawd, you DO have the lamp, right? Mines is 48 W. Got it on Amazon. BOOM! Perfection. 6. Repeat. I wouldn't suggest doing this more than a couple times. Can't imagine what you'd do with thick ole blocky nails. No loose change for you, buddy. 7. Apply the Gelish top sealer to sexify and get that awesome gel look. Process til dry and then using an alcohol wipe (drug stores have boxes of these for a little over a buck or two) WIPE OFF THAT STICKY TOP LAYER! Not to get all sciencey, but the chemicals used to create this awesome gel look leave a sticky residue once the molecules have moved around, done their thing and dried up. It's sticky, not mushy or wet sooooo it's dry. You're fine.

I have purchased the Gelish Fantastic Four Gel Polish Kit in the past and wouldn't use any other base/top coat on my own nails. I do buy inexpensive color polishes though, because I trust that the Gelish topcoat and foundation is reliable enough to keep any polish between them from chipping, peeling or fading... and so far, after using these products for over a year exclusively, they have not failed me yet no matter which color polish brand I use. My manicure looks the same on day 15 as it looks on day 1 (I change the colors for grow-out, not because they need it). The products in this kit are well worth the $$ especially if you don't spend a lot on your color polishes... that's how you'll get your money's worth out of them.

I've been using an at home gel system for a few years now. Although it's definitely better than regular polish (which chips in hours for me), it still didn't compare to the length a salon manicure would. The gels would last about a week, sometimes peel in a few days. I've watched all the tutorials and have perfected the application technique. Between housework, dishes, kids, baths... I'm rough on my hands. I've been wanting to try gelish products for a while but couldn't bring myself to pay $15 a bottle for all the necessities when I already had a few other brands at home. Finding this four pack at this price seemed too good to be true! I figured I'd give it a shot! Can't beat the price! I am in love an my amazed at the difference gelish provides!!! Application was better, seems like a much more quality product! Mine came in the box which has directions for each bottle, but the website also has a great step by step pdf you can download. The cuticle oil has a nice lemon scent which I certainly will use everyday! Excuse them in the picture - it's April & still snowing! The foundation glides on nice too. It's only been one day so I can't wait to see how long it stays on! Well worth the buy, great price, shipping was fast too! I will never buy any other brand again!

This item is perfect for gel nails. Easy and lasts on my nails. I’ve had this polish on for over 3 weeks. No chipping or peeling. Sure theres out growth but that’s has no reflection on the quality of this fabulous gel nail polish set. Makes my nails look like I had them done at a professional salon👍👍The pictures are the day I did them and about 3 weeks later.

I am beyond happy with my purchase. I'm not a nail painting kind of gal, but I wanted my fingertips to look more lady like, minus chipped polish and a big price tag from the salon. I took a chance and bought my tools, including this kit. 6 days later and not a single chip! And this is my first time ever applying gel to my nails myself. I goofed and got a little on my cuticles, which is a big no-no, but the polish still hasn't chipped. I also apply the oil to my cuticles everyday and they don't look messy and ragged. This lit is awesome!

Works great and cures in my LED lamp in 30-60 seconds. Note for those new at doing their own gel nails: Especially with the top coat, be sure to wipe off any excess when you take the brush out of the bottle. Because it is clear, it is easy to put too much on and not really see that it's pooling at your cuticles. Then once you cure it, theres not much you can do. That was my newbie mistake - but now that I know, it works perfectly and looks great every time!

This kit is very easy to use, and, so far, I have used it with different brands of gel polish, without any issues. The top coat, "Top it Off," is super shiny and durable. Be careful about flooding the cuticles with this top coat, because the viscosity is on the thinner-moderate side. The "Foundation" gel, has the shorter tipped brush applicator, and the viscosity of this product is on the thicker side. The pH Bond is pretty basic. The "Nourish" cuticle oil has a pleasant smell, and, is comparable to other cuticle oils.

I was excited to have these arrive in the mail, I swear by gelish and all 4 of these are such good products!! I do have to say, you do NOT have to gelish color to have an amazing manicure. I have a few colors that are gelish, but most of my color collection is off brand. I use gelish “ph bond”, “pro bond”, “hard gel”, “foundation”, and “top it off”.. my manicure lasts for about 4 weeks with minimal lifting or peeling, just a lot of grow out.. I really only bought this for the foundation because alone it was over half the price of the set for all 4, but it was a plus to get the other 3 as well, I’ll just stock up for when I run out of my current bottles! I was slightly shocked to see that the bottles did not come in a cute box like pictured, instead all 4 bottles were inside bubble wrap.. (none of the bottles were damaged though..) Gelish is an AMAZING product, if it’s not working for you, you’re doing something wrong! I would recommend researching on YouTube if you’re experiencing any problems before blaming gelish.
