I've been shaving over fifty years and have used many different products during this time. For the last six years I have used the Schick Hydro five and thought it was as good as any of the competing brands. I was wrong! A friend suggested trying this razor. Since I needed to buy blades for my Schick anyway, I decided to try the Gillette. What a surprise. I don't do reviews without careful consideration. I have been using this razor for three months now and I can honestly say that it is, beyond any doubt, the best blade razor that I have ever used. Clean close shave, blades don't clog from the shaving gel, blades last longer, well balanced, single blade on back is great for sideburns and upper lip, and the vibrating head provided easy shaving strokes.

I use it to shave my face. The vibrations make for a very comfortable shave.

Makes shaving easier

Gillette says blade lasts 1 month. I say more like 20 days before the "smooth" wears out, but still the smoothest and closest I've had the pleasure of using.

What can I say, its Gillette. I tried the Amazon brand and did not like. Came back to Gillette proglide and couldn't be happier. Works as it should and I get a lose shave.

BEST shave for price. I've been with Gillette since I started shaving . Will always be with Gillette. Also when I have suggested and then every person that tried the G.shave - till this day that's what they still use as well. Truly the best a man can get! Hands down!

Best shave, best razor ever blade or electric. Just buy it. I've tried them all, Dollar Club, Dorco (same as DC), Harry's to save money. Shick Flex blades, 3 blades, 5 blades, etc. This one gives a nearly flawless shave. And the power feature is not a gimmick it does add to it.
