Despite the the product title, this is strictly an outlet extender. It does not offer surge protection.For the outlet in question, I like the cube design. However I also need surge protection.I haven't opened it and it's going back today.

It worked fine in the beginning then 4 months of use and it is done working already. Turned out to be not so good. I hate wasting money on products that dont last.
