Great for multiple purposes

I have bought 3 of these 3-pack sets and love them for all kinds of uses. I have them in use for light on the stairs up to my kids room so we dont have to turn on the light and wake them up to go check on them. I have one mounted above the door in our guest bathroom so you get some light in the room while trying to find the light switch that is placed oddly on the hinge side of the door. I have 2 of them in my gun safe to provide light inside the safe when accessing it at night. The batteries last for quite some time and its super easy to change them out without needing a screwdriver. The only con for these is the adhesive does not work well on fabric covered surfaces like the inside of the gun safe. Luckily the magnets on the back were strong enough to attach to the metal through the fabric

Magnets aren’t very strong

Used these in the pantry. Magnets didn’t hold well but the lights work with command strips.

Great option for the price you pay for!

Not sure how I feel about these lights, but they do the job. I bought them for a couple of closets.Mounting: They stick well and the magnets work well too. The magnets are able to stick on my ClosetMaid wire shelves really well. The 3M tapes that come with the set are sticky! Make sure to plan out where exactly you want to stick the tape because it will rip the paint out.Motion sensor: The motion sensors on these worked surprisingly well too! It has failed to turn on whenever I open the doors. Though, if I take a little longer searching through the close and the lights go off, I found it a little finicky to turn them back on again. I wish a simple hand wave or a switch/button to turn it back on again.Brightness: I was a little disappointed with the brightness of these lights, but you get what you pay for! They light up a large closet well (as shown in my pictures) but they do not recommend putting two lights close to each other which, for me, meant only having one of these in that closet. It does the job, but just not bright enough.

Bright

Will work well in a power outage. These do not have a switch to turn them off. You will have to take the batteries out which kinda defeats the purpose but they work well and are very bright in an emergency

Great little lights - some cautions

These are terrific, bright little lights, for closets, dark cabinets, whatever, and I've reordered some more. They work fine. Some cautions:1. Limited instructions, in broken English. Sufficient for the actual lights, but be aware that the sticker pad on its back is sticky on only one side -- the side that goes on the wall (or whatever). The other side is metallic, for the magnet that is embedded in the light casing. The sticky side is VERY sticky and will destroy your paint if you need to pull it off. I actually skipped the sticker pad and used double-sided tape, which sticks well & comes off easily if needed.2. The lights are not always in sync & don't always turn on or off at the same time. Not broken, just not in sync.Update a few days later:Changed from 5 stars to 4, since one of the 6 lights I ordered never worked right. If it went on at all, it ended up flashing on & off, and never stopped (never fully turned off). I changed the (otherwise new) batteries but it always reverted to flashing, so I just threw it out.

Very bright, doesn't stay in place.

We put all 3 lights in our linen closet on the walls. Within 1 month, all 3 lights have fallen. The first light fell without our knowledge and the adhesive sticker stuck to the floor and had to be pried up with rubbing alcohol and scissors. The other 2 have since fallen and 1 of the adhesive stickers has gone missing. If the adhesive stickers had stuck to the wall as well as they stuck to the floor, I would've liked the lights better. They were vey bright and perfect for the intended purpose, if only they stayed adhered to the wall.

Closet light

Smaller than I expected, but works fine in my 'under the stairs' apartment coat/utility closet.

Good, but could be a little better.

Unlike the others, I am not necessarily ok with disabling the light sensor. I want these to come on when it is dark only and not always. My new house is set up weird and it is often difficult to get across the kitchen to get to the light switch in the dark. I was looking into remote switches, but went with these for now. Fortunately, the fridge is a great place for one of these, unfortunately, because they recessed the magnet on the back, it does not hold well at all. Also, luckily for me, the fridge is close, as I don't believe this 10 foot range at all. I need to be about 4-5 feet from it before it turns on.Since I have a steel door and haven't gotten around to getting a motion porch light yet, I decided to slap one of these on the door too. I had to install additional magnets on both units, or else they slid down the surfaces. I don't know what was setting this one off, bugs maybe, but I installed it, went around the corner and watched as the light would come on, then go off, then come on, then go off, then come on.... Eventually this stopped, but can't figure out what was triggering it to come on with nothing near the door at all, just the small porch and woods and hillside, and no animals around.Better magnet placement and having actual 10 feet of range would make these that much better. As is, the included magnets were too weak or improperly positioned to keep these from sliding down a metal surface. Especially a surface like a door that moves. These should only come on when a warm blooded object moves, so bugs setting it off seems odd, also I notice as soon as I open the door, the light seems to come on even though I'm behind it. However, given the price for these and what I am using them for, I really like them and they have solved some of my problems.

Delay is too quick in turn off

The purpose was for lighting in my safe. Two over the shelves and one over the main 'cabin'.Either I missed it, or it's not stated, however adhesion is from a double sided tape (which has worked great so far adhered to exposed particle board *the sides and top of the shelf are the course gray fabric). So I'm thinking... what happens when I need to change the batteries? They thought of that in advance and so there are magnets for easy removal and replacement. If you want to move it to another location, you'll have to rip the original wall/shelf mounted magnet and re-adhere it with your own 2x tape. The light's brightness is perfect, however the downside is that there's no way to adjust how long the light will stay on. This is a problem. There's maybe a 5 second delay (at most), and then the light pops back off again. I have to then swipe my hand to get it going again, and it could be just the one light (as placement keeps the other two on due to my movements that those can 'see' more easy then the lowest light) - however there's no instant pop-on with this third light.I'm still frustrated there's not a switch that you can tell it - 5 sec - 30 sec - 1 minute. Or something to that effect.Otherwise I"m pretty happy with these little guys.
