I am alone female camper and backpacker and hiker. I bought these lights for a while I can’t balloon or boondock or hike the back country. On my recent trip to section hike the Appalachian trail I set up base camp in a campground and used these lights to alert me to bears or humans in or around my camp. I simply popped them on my truck doors. I found that I didn’t need to use a headlamp or a flashlight while walking around camp as anytime I passed in front of the light it went on 100% of the time. They are pretty bright and extremely adequate for my needs out in the dark forest yet they do not blind other campers.

I bought these to light up a small two section stairway. I placed one on the wall about five inches up from the middle of the first section, the second about eight inches up the wall in the middle of the landing and the last one about four inches up the wall one step up from the middle of the second section. They give off enough light and it's easy to see your way down. They are a bit off when it comes to motion detection. The one at the top section will go off when passing down the hallway past it but sometime wont. Most of the time the one at the landing in the middle will not go off but sometimes will. I have tried walking close to the stairs past them but not going on the stairs and walking as far from the stairs as I can down the hall way but I get random results and there seems to be no pattern to what causes them to go off when walking down the hallway past the stairs. Also the one on the landing will go off when the lights are on when you walk past it but not all the time. Again there is no pattern to it and I do not know what triggers it. The other two do not do this. I can only chalk this up to poor manufacturing controls on component specifications.Overall these problems are not major and for the price you can not expect "Spit and Polish" to be done to make them perfect.

Just what I was looking for: motion activated but only when dark. Put in on the bottom of my bedroom so that I can navigate our dark hallway when I get up at night/early morning. The only lightswitch to our hall light is at the other end of the hallway which is super annoying and this has been a great solution. With a 3 pack we could put them on each bedroom door, but the one alone picks up enough motion and is bright enough to light the short hallway. I do like that’s is not blindingly bright so it doesn’t hurt my eyes coming from sleep/dark bedroom.

Recently got this to help illuminate my small, really dark closet. I have to say they have definitely exceeded my expectations. The motion sensors work great and it's helpful that they come in packs of 3 so I had one of all the opposite sides of the walls in the closet. Was a little worried about the adhesive on the back and whether they would fall off but it's been a few months and they are still holding on!

They were inexpensive, low profile and shed plenty of light
