Product performs as stated which is a fantastic motion sensor battery powered LED light

Product performs as stated which is a fantastic motion sensor battery powered LED light! To my surprise, the LED's are quite bright and the motion sensor very sensitive. I was able to trigger the motion sensor from nine feet away. Being that the lights are LED, the batteries last a long time and the intensity of the light doesn't fade as the batteries lose power. The built in magnets and included 3M double sided tape make it very easy to stick the lights to almost any surface and since the light twists off of the backing it is very simple to access and change the batteries! Another awesome feature is that the light will only activate in low/no light situations. As far as the rating goes, I rated this product 4 stars as I feel it could have a couple of improvements... there's always room for improvement. In a future model I feel that two added features would make this product go a very long way. First, I would like to easily be able to adjust the duration the light is on. As is, if there isn't continuous motion the light turns off after 20 seconds until the sensor picks up more motion. I would like to be able to extend this time up to a minute or longer. Second, I would like to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor. As is, the motion sensor picks up movement up to nine feet away and while the sensitivity is nice in some situations, I would like to limit the sensitivity if need be. Other than that, I feel the functionality, reliability and quality of the product is excellent!I originally bought this product as a light source for a litter cabinet I built for my wife's and my two cats. When the cats enter the litter cabinet, the lights automatically turn on & off providing more than ample light for the felines to do their business. For this, the lights work very well and I would imagine that they would work well for any reason you would need to light an area with occasional nighttime traffic. I feel everyone could find a use for this product and most certainly feel it was a good buy!

Update on my previous review

Disappointed that I have to wave my hand around in the cabinet for it to come on. This means that I am still getting items from the cabinet in the dark unless I want to keep waving my hand around to the light comes on. Regret the purchase.Update: 10/22/22 - Buyer contacted me expressing disappointment that I was not satisfied with the product. A partial refund was issued, and Krystal (with Amir) communicated that some lights may be more sensitive than others. I agree this must be the case because 2 of the 3 lights work perfectly. I switched out the less sensitive with one of the others and everything is just fine.

Light sensor workaround

These, like other similar wireless LED lights, had one big flaw that made them useless for me. (And I think for some other people as well.) They are fine in total darkness, but if you want them to light up a dim, but not totally dark area, they won't turn on because of the light sensor. That makes them not only useless as an auxiliary light source, but also when grouped -- since if one is on the light sensor of the other(s) prevents them from turning on.SOLUTION: Remove the light sensor. Please see the photos attached. Not actually that hard to do if you're careful and don't mind that it probably invalidates the warranty since you are essentially breaking part of it. Also be sure that's what you want -- it really will go on every time is senses motion, so be sure it's inside a closet or other place where just passing by in the distance won't set it off.Photo 1: with the back plate removed to access the batteries, there are three small Phillips screws. Remove those and carefully (there are wires) separate the back section which holds the batteries and circuits from the front section which is the case and diffuser.Photo 2: On the circuit board you will see two sensors. The larger one is the motion sensor so leave that alone. (the dome cover may fall off, don't worry, it goes back on fine) the smaller sensor, seen here in the grip of the pliers, is the light sensor. Carefully so as not to damage the rest of the board, but with some force because it's on a couple solid wires, just break off the light sensor. Then just put everything back together. Now you have a light that is motion sensitive but not light sensitive. Again, note that this will need to go somewhere that it won't be constantly going on every time you pass unless that's what you want. It works great for me inside a closet that has a door, and in an under stairs storage area that also has a door.ALTERNATE SOLUTION: If you want brighter light and don't mind spending considerably more, this Mr. Beams light is actually designed to allow you to easily defeat the light sensor. It's also really bright -- I got one just today and love it so far! https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Beams-MB990-WHT-02-00-Wireless-Battery/dp/B01IKQDKAM

Works fine

A little too light sensitive. Has to be pitch blank to work. Motion works. Will not work where you have some light.

Wow! I can see!

It is lovely to open up my coat closet and see what I have hanging in there.Once when I opened up the door, there was light in the hallway and the light did not come on with motion. I waved my arms, hands, etc and it did not come in. I am thinking it was because there was enough light coming from the hallway. It wasn't dark. That is my only issue as of yet. Enjoying the light.

Cheaper than couples' counselling

We've had a stick-on LED light in a low, deep cabinet for quite a while, the kind with a push-button switch. And, for quite a while, I've seen it still on in the morning, gradually dimming. Burning through batteries isn't the worst thing in the world, so I bite my tongue. This little gadget will keep my tongue from getting bitten. The motion-sensing activation is nice, but not what I got it for. I wanted the stillness-sensing deactivation. There's probably some infinitesimal battery drain to keep the motion sensor running between times. Even so, I expect the batteries to last a lot longer.Marital harmony is worth a whole lot more than this costs, even if I end up using only one of the three in this package.-- wiredweirdUpdate: Downgrade to four stars. The motion sensor isn't very sensitive - I'll try customizations suggested in other reviews. Also, the mounting isn't working all that well. It's magnetic instead of mechanical (grabs, but doesn't lock in place), and way too easy to bump off the wall in a tight cabinet. I haven't had it long enough to corroborate the battery-drain assertions, but could be. Even so, drain from the always-on sensors vs drain from it left on overnight still seems favorable.

They function well

They come with meta disk to stick wherever magnetic mount works well they are nice for a place in need of lighting and you can take them off the mount and use them like a flashlight and put them back when your done

Lite Bright

They serve the purpose. Added one in the space around my cat's litter box. Works well when my cat approaches the litter box at night when all the lights are off. I recommend this product.

Good Light and Good Motion Detection, but parasitic power draw

These are excellent from the standpoint of triggering on detection and providing good light. However, the motion detection circuitry draws power all the time. It's a very small drain, but over many months the batteries will go dead.Just be aware that even if they aren't used often (for the light), they will eventually run out of power regardless.
