Great little lights! Certainly good for the price. The installation options - magnet, or 3M adhesives - make them very flexible. I use these in an older home where my ceiling fans are on a single switch - I like leaving the fans on with lights off when not in the room, so these lights provide the necessary lighting when just passing through one of the dark rooms or when you need to enter and find the pull chain to turn on the main lights.I have one of these mounted to the ceiling fan housing - the fan blades do not activate the light's motion sensor. Another is used in an entry room which is normally dark - light works great for the short time needed to make the entry safe.As a special note, the light sensor can be neutralized so these lights can be used together to provide interior lighting for a gun safe if you don't have the option of an electrical outlet in your safe. Thankfully, a few other reviewers mentioned canceling the light sensors - one wrote about cutting wires, another wrote about using black tape to cover the internal sensor. I wouldn't cut any wires. I recommend using black, electrical tape to fully cover the small sensor. You will need to open the back, as if doing so to install the batteries. At this point, you will see three small screws; remove the screws to access the circuit board with the sensors. The motion sensor is the large dome in the center; off to the side of the dome, you will see a small clear, square component - this is the light sensor. You will need to cover it completely - I suggest two small pieces of the tape, applied to make a + over the sensor and sticking to the circuit board on all four sides of the sensor. Once the tape is secured, replace the cover without replacing the screws; install the batteries to test it. The light will come on when the third battery is installed. Allow the light to go out. Have the unit in a lighted area, then make a motion near the unit. If the light activates, you are good to go. If not, check to make sure you have covered the light sensor. Once it is verified to work in a lighted area, complete the replacement of the cover with the screws. Now you are ready to install the lights in your safe, or other cabinet. If you have a large safe with an electrical outlet, I recommend you purchase a Torchlight LED lighting system. They are available via Amazon and work fantastic!

Recently I purchased a set of these lights (they come in 3-pack) with a fairly reasonable price. I wanted something that I can put at places like stair case, near the doors where I need light for sometime to lock or unlock or places in house where I need light only for a short while so I can get into a room and switch on my normal lights - basically, I needed my house to be safe for people so they don't bump into things because all the lights are off. By having all the lights off, I save electricity and by having these sensor lights, I ensure that the house is safe from accidents and people can switch on lights as required if it is required to stay on for longer time. While researching, I found this product to be an exact fit because it comes with two sensors - first the light sensor that turns the light on only when it's dark enough and second, the motion sensor that ensures that the light is not always on when it's dark but turns on only when someone is around or a motion is detected in dark. The idea is excellent.During research I found that, there are many solutions with the existing wiring in the house but all of them are way too expensive and lack the freedom of putting anywhere you want to lace them. This product, I found to be cheap, yet smart enough for my needs. So, I bought a pack of 3 and tried it out. Unfortunately, one of them worked as expected but two of them remained on once it detected motion in darkness and didn't switch off. Since it was so cheap, I didn't bother complaining. But the Amir sales people contacted me proactively to find out how their product was doing and I mentioned them about these defective one's. To y surprise, they sent another 3-pack completely free! That is incredible. They didn't even bother to ask me to return the defective one's. That I call good customer support! But, the products do work excellent. I have tested it now more thoroughly. I highly recommend this product to anyone with similar needs. In mind, I think this must be a very popular need. Who doesn't want to save electricity, cost associated with it and make the house safe.I have two suggestions for the makers of this products:1. The magnet is very weak. Needs to be stronger for people who want to use the magnet to attach lights to someplace. Also, do a more thorough quality check on the sensors.2. Provide an option to buy a battery charger that is reasonably priced and if the charger can charge different types of batteries - all the better. This can be a separate product that can be sold in conjunction with this and a discount be given if they are both bought together. From a business perspective, this is a sale-up and from a customer perspective, if reasonable discount is given - it's a win-win.Other than that, needless to say, I'm one satisfied customer and recommend the product highly to others with similar needs.

So far I don’t like them cause the light sensor isn’t that good, if there is any amount of light any we here the lights still come on, even when all our lights are on. And that’s the part I don’t like in the middle of the afternoon when it’s the brightest it still comes on and it looks weird with lights on in the middle of the day. I thought like bathroom lights they legit don’t come on until it’s pitch black, and if there even a little light it turns off. These stay on no matter what, update to a couple months later. I like them, takes some time getting used to them but then held on and done what I wanted. I do recommend

Great lights work well
Sumone
Work great for dark spaces. Its best for outside. I put it on my porch bc porch lights aren’t energy efficient. The lights are really bright.i tried not to use on eye level bc lights are very intense/bright.Each uses 3 batteries and make sure you know where you want it bc the adhesive is strong. I felt it was too bright and tried to move it closer to floor and adhesive was hard to remove.I like them bc the motion sensor works well.
