This is probably a great product for someone with a smaller head. I was fooled by the adjustable strap in the back. I thought that would actually loosen or tighten the hat band. It does not not do that. I actually can't figure out what the purpose of that piece is, because the elastic ends just inside the opening.

The hat is very tight and there is no room to expand it. It leaves a severe red line/indent across my forehead when I wear it. It did handle wind on the neach well, which is the main reason I purchased it but sadly I won't be able to use this again so it will be going to Goodwill.

The specs say that this fits a head of 21 to 23 inches. My head measures at 22" but this hat is very tight. I finally cut it in the back to make it comfortable. The hat is of good quality, but they need to make it a little bigger.

I have an average size head and when I tried this on it was much smaller even for my head. I got it for my daughter who has a bigger head size then I do and now she won't be able to wear it. As far as it protecting your face from the sun that it will do. Material seems good but the problem is it's too small!

I ordered this one because I'd previously ordered one of the Ordenado ones and while it fit well, the color was hideous and it smelled terrible, despite trying Febreezed and washing. This one came today. The brim is much less deep. It's also way tighter and I can tell it's going to give me a headache if I wear it. Also, the snap on one side doesn't work.

I feel that I have an average size head, and even with it pulled all the way tight, I felt that it was too loose. The neck strap saved the hair from falling off my head multiple times. There was no sizing choice, but I would say this is too large and does not works for someone with a 7 1/4 hat/Stetson size. The quality is fine. The color was nice - I just wish it fit better

I am a small women. This hat has a very small inside circle, even on when you let the tape all the way out it is very tight. The string/chin strap on the hat is too short, if you drop it back to wear it around your neck it strangles you. It is too bad, the construction of the hat is ok, and I like that it breathes....But honestly I am a 5'6" 120 pound women who orders the smallest size hats and this hat is meant for a child size person. It is made in China. Some of the stitching is missing on the brim as well. Returning it, since it does not fit.

Great idea for my area in the summer. I ordered a blue one and even though the snaps to hold the sides of the rim were a little off set I liked it and ordered another in a different color. The snaps were more off set than the first where you couldn't snap the sides up. They are yard and pool hats so I didn't return them. But not worth the money.

Order the pretty rose pink hat for those windy beach days. Just walking around the neighborhood on a breezy day, the hat would not stay on- even with the chin strap up. The strap has a mechanism to keep it up to the desired height that works well. Too bad the hat itself does not have a way to resize it around the crown. No pony tail here- so maybe that is the stabilizing factor. It is going back and I am looking for a hat with an interior adjustment- not just elastic around where the ponytail will slip through.

I checked the description and measured my head (23.25"). While there was a strap that could be adjusted, the circumference of the hat itself was too tight, so the adjustable strap in the back was of no use. It only is useful if your head was smaller and the hat needed tightening. Otherwise, the color was beautiful and I loved the brim. Just didn't fit my large head. :(
