The jar was too small to fit all of my coins, but I gave it to my sister. Itβs counting is accurate, but it does not come with batteries. You will need 2 triple AA batteries. The size is about medium.

I purchased this coin counter jar last year and when a friend saw it they commented that it was something they would like to have. So, when I saw it on Amazon for $9.99 when most places had it priced at $20, I grabbed it to give my friend for Christmas. Wasy to operate too. You simply push the coins through the sensor slot and it immediately tells you the new total each time you add coins to the jar. While I seldom use cash, I was surprised that I collected over $50 worth of change in just a few months. I would guesstimate that this sturdy plastic jar could hold several hundred dollars worth of change if completely full. This would make a great gift for people of any age, dosen't take up much space and is a fun way to see your spare change riches grow. The digital numbers are easy to read and the lid unscrews when you are ready to roll your coins for the bank. A useful & fun to use gift for yourself, that person who has everything or young person learning about the value of money will love this coin counter. A great item for under $10.

It is accurate and fun to use. I have counted a couple of hundred of dollars and still going strong. Would buy again.

Bought two of my grandson these banks and they loved them! The banks come in a variety of colors and they even include a small screwdriver in the box for the battery compartment.
