8K polling rate is fantastic!

I honestly did not think Id be able to tell a difference between this mouse and a gaming mouse with a standard 1k polling rate. But it is sincerely a night and day difference. This mouse won't make you any better at your game. However, you will appreciate the smooth responsiveness. It took me several days to adjust to the immediate input afforded by this mouse. Keep in mind I use only 1800 dpi on all my gaming mice. This mouse feels great in my medium hands and is just heavy enough that its comfortable. I have used ultralight mice in the past as well as heavier gaming mice. This is a good middle ground, however it is not perfect. The software is very intuitive and makes for easy set up. The cable is not as flexible as other mice I have tried. This is due to the cable being thicker to transmit at 8k. Overall this has become my go to mouse and has a very nice price point and ergonomics. I would recommend getting a good mouse bungee to reduce cable drag.

Razer got me this time!

I have never purchased a Razer product since the last four years since ever since the last product I purchased from them left me very disappointed, but this one definitely is an exception. For the price this mouse is a STEAL. It's so light and feels just right with my hand. If you're looking for a small light-weight gaming mouse look no further.

WONDERFUL

The color pink and gray looks way better in real life. Really light. Easy and comfortable to grab. Wonderful charging dock so you never have issues with battery life. And amazing for gaming or even just browsing the web.

Great for small and even medium hands!

I've been using this mouse for almost a month and it's been working great! The feet are slick, the buttons are just as fast as Razer says they are, and since I have a small hand, it's a great fit! A great release by Razer and I purchased a few of they're products. I own the Kraken X headset, this mouse, and when the brand new Razer huntsmans mini is back in stock, (It's so popular that the linear switches version is already out of stock everywhere I check!) I plan to purchase that too!

Instant Improvement

Came in 2 days, I've trusted Razer products for a long time, and this is no exception. I purchased it with some grip tape, it works very well, the mouse itself has superb build quality and no rattling whatsoever, I bought this after using the original razer viper for a little over a year, and there are almost no downsides if you spend less money with this one, I couldn't tell a difference in the less advanced sensor with the mini compared to the original viper. Pros: PTFE Mouse feet Lightweight - this is great for fps games Ultra high quality build Vibrant RGB lighting (logo and under glow) Lighter than the original viper, but has no drawbacks in terms of build-quality. Small design, great for kids/fingertip users alike. Cons: (None of these are applicable to me, but may be something to think about for some buyers) Since it's so small, I'd only recommend it to fingertip users, the only way to really claw/palm grip this mouse is if you have very small hands (I have fairly large hands) Symmetrical shape, but does not have side buttons on the right side of the mouse, only the left side. Very lightweight (61grams) not a huge downside, but if you're used to a more heavy mouse, (90-150grams) this will take some getting used to. (about 1-2 days of use) I instantly improved with this mouse, the combined light weight design, and great build quality improved my skill. If you can, I'd spend the extra $10 and get it with some grip tape from razer.

The Razer Viper Mini took over my desk and now the Ultimate has taken the mini's place.

1 year update: After a year it is still my favorite mouse and I have acquired many more mice since then. This includes the G Pro Superlight as well as the Aerox 3 Wireless (Model D minus, M42, XM1r and many more). It is still the mouse I perform the best with. I have a non-aggressive claw grip that I use with it that just simply feels better than with any other mouse. On top of the grip, the quality has not degraded on a single component of the mouse or dock. I still wish the M1 and M2 were had 5g more tension and a tiny bit more feedback when depressed. Also with the optical switches I think it would be cool to be able to adjust an artificial debounce time. I regularly outperform my other mice with this mouse in Valorant with the NP-01, GPX and M42 being distant #2, 3 and 4. The Aerox just came in yesterday so I cannot place it especially until I get aftermarket feet because these suck butts, the shape however is similar and could be very good. The RVU still reigns supreme. Update: About 5 months after owning the Viper Ultimate I have found I play best with it over my whole collection. I initially thought the Mini was better but I am a little less precise with it. Right now I switch between the RVU and the Vaxee Zygen NP 01 fo Valorant (which I play the most) with the mini as my fast mouse for Apex and games like that. With the Viper Ultimate including the dock being 99$ right now for black friday I say jump on it. The mini is 29$! right now which is literally insane. I am having a hard time finding a mouse I play better with. I play shooters, atm Valorant, CSGO, Destiny 2, Apex Legends (not so much after the wraith nerfs), and a little Overwatch here and there. I come from using a g305 and I love that thing. I bought this and was hitting shots I couldn't hit before. It was hard to get used to the grip at first but now I love it. So much so that I bought a Viper Ultimate and I can safely say I like the mini a lot better. My hands are medium sized- 19cm X 9cm and I switch between claw and fingertip. It is super light and the weight distribution is nice. M1,2,3,4 are really good, no play or issues. The cable is very light and flexible and I use it with a Razer bungie v2 and I honestly forget it's wired sometimes. The skates are some of the best stock I have seen. The sensor is super accurate and the resolution error has to be one of the best (I would have to look it up). Do not let the Razer branding or 40$ price fool you, this thing is top notch. Now i wish I could sell my week old 150$ Ultimate because it doesn't beat its 40$ little brother. Trust me, if you are looking for one of the top 3 mice out there. This is one of them.

Impressive

Super impressed with this Viper Mini, only just got it today but adjusting from a Zowie ZA13 was pretty instant. First game of CS got a 30k, 2nd game was 16k only but 100% HS rating. The scroll wheel is a million times better than any Zowie I've had (S2, FK1, EC1, FK2, ZA 11, ZA 13 lol). The plastic for some reason does make my fingers sweat which I have never experienced before on any mouse. I hold claw grip, the slight moisture does actually help with grip weird enough. It wasn't overly sweaty just something I've never experienced before. This mouse is pretty small if someone palm grips but if you have small hands probably perfect. The MM710 build quality was atrocious compared to this, I had to return mine it would actual click one of the side mouse buttons if I squeezed the mouse LOL. In game sens is 1.1 and DPI 800, 1920x1080...installed the razer software just to turn off the RGB lights, but the lights looked like they were really good quality. I was kind of taken back at first at the vivid colors through the logo, didn't expect that at $40. Anyways I don't like excess lights so turned it off. The new software wasn't bad, but I try to run software free for my mouse. Lift off distance is higher than the Zowies I have used (on default) but I didn't find that to be a problem. I've actually only noticed it when I'm doing things in windows but not in game. Get it, try it out, you'll probably really like it if your coming from another small mouse!

Pretty, comfy, accurate and responsive.

The media could not be loaded. Versatile mouse for gaming or office work. One charge lasts a forty hour work week. Accurate and fast-no lag. Great for gaming! I play Sea of Thieves, Ori, ROBLOX, Cyberpunk currently. Works wired or wirelessly. Download app to customize colors. The Quartz pink is beautiful and design is comfy for the wrist and hand. I rest my palm on the mouse and I have a short hand reach. Bigger hand would be good too.
