Its good but not great. For a lightweight fps mouse, it can compete with the best but with a few caveats. I think most people reading these reviews are familiar with the advertised features so I will focus on things that I've noticed and other users have echo'ed before you make your decision... - Ergonomically speaking, this mouse feels the most similar to the Glorious Model O but a tiny bit slimmer at the waist. Some people have compared it to the Logitech G Pro Wireless but I feel that the G Pro Wireless has more of a pronounced "hump" near the back that may touch the center of your palm (depending on your hand size and grip). - The battery life is pretty ...meh. It doesn't last as long as advertised and it always requires charging before the G Pro does. Its not a huge difference but its enough that I always think about charging the Viper more than the G Pro. - Unrefined, I don't have any issues with the switches but the VIPER ULTIMATE just feels "cheaper" than the G Pro or the Glorious. Lets just say, if you spent a ton of money on a luxury car and as soon as you open the door, you hear this creaking noise from the hinge, I don't think you'd be too happy. Its not going to affect the performance but damn its pretty disappointing. The right click is especially noticeable for me. It just feels cheap and plastic-y like it almost has 2 or 3 different micro steps for each actuation (or maybe its just the plastic flexing). If you're a lefty, this might become your primary button and could be a deal breaker. G Pro and Glorious: left and right mouse buttons feel the same, clean and crisp. Everything else is perfectly fine and I still enjoy using it but after a few months, I find myself using it less and less and instead has become more of a shiny trophy piece on my desk than my daily go to.

This mouse is beautiful, light, has good connection and good battery life. The problems start with Synapse. This mouse is not compatible with Synapse 2.0, and Synapse 3.0 doesn't run on MacOS. This means, that I don't have access to a lot of the functionality. This is not that bad, because I don't need all the bells and whistles. The bigger problem is that the standard MacOS driver I think is incompatible with the mouse. Whenever I play a video (youtube, netflix, or playing something with the local player, like the 5kPlayer), if I move the mouse in the same time, the video freezes. This behavior is very annoying, and I believe it stems from the incompatibility of MacOS with the mouse, and it's driven because there is no Synapse support on MacOS.

I'll admit I bought this mouse based on looks. I bought the mercury white model, and it fits perfectly with the rest of my build. I know this is billed as a lightweight mouse, and it is, but I don't like the balance. The center of mass is farther forward than I would like, I would actually like the option to add weight to the back as many other mice have (especially given the $150 price point). This would let people adjust the balance of their mouse to their preference, or let people keep the mouse as light as possible. Battery life seems very good so far, the only problem is that I forget to dock it because it lasts such a long time (my issue, not theirs :) ). I just need to make the habit of docking it every night. The USB port on the mouse is thoughtfully placed so that the mouse works just as well when it's wired. However, the cable seems cheaper than the one they provided with my Huntsman Mini, and doesn't match with it. The keyboard cable has some shiny silver tones and is just a bit stiff, the mouse cable is flat white and very floppy. Seeing as I bought the same brand so that the mouse would match the keyboard, this is disappointing. RGB is good, the colors match most other things I have (I have had a few bad experiences with RGB that was WAY off of everything else) There is quite a bit of sideways play in the scroll wheel. It almost feels like a mouse where you can push the scroll button side to side, but that's not the case. You'll actually just end up clicking the mouse wheel. Side buttons are annoyingly placed, it's very easy to hit them accidentally. I keep them unmapped. It's a good thing I only need 2 buttons in a mouse. The entire product is very confusing, given the price point they're clearly targeting the mid-tier to premium market, but the feel doesn't come off like that. Functionally everything works well, but they clearly cut corners everywhere and the overall execution is lacking.
