My g pro was ridden with click/scroll issues, and I was told optical switches get rid of those issues. i havent seen anyone complain about them with this mouse. I hope I won't either. Battery life isnt as good as g pro , which lasts for days and days. I feel like that mouse lasts about 3x longer. yet this advertises better battery life. it seems about the same life as my g403/g703. (this is with lights off and 1000 polling rate.) However, much better ergonomics than g pro . and the cable (if you use it) seems better for bungees , though you have to use razer's cable (the USB connector is very thin at the end). I love the grip when I use the (separately bought) stickers. I actually can't go back to a gripless mouse now. Some things to be aware of: many users complain about the plastic buttons becoming "loose" over time and start to feel "mushy". I'm pretty used to loose buttons so I don't think i'd be that annoyed (i think intellimouse had them). Also, it seems to turn on a very slight acceleration when you turn on "smart tracking". so i leave it off.

I have been through several mice - I started with a crappy generuc budget gaming mouse, upgraded to a Logi G703, replaced that with a Razer Mamba Wireless when the G703's scroll wheel broke, and then recently got the Viper Mini. It's impossibly light, the cable is super light and flexible, the clicks are deep and satisfying, and the PTFE feet are smooth as butter. Build quality is excellent. The sensor is excellent and latency is near-null. This mouse has made me so much better with flick shots at a lower eDPI of 400. Big swipes are effortless. Only gripe is that the scroll wheel isn't very satisfying. The sides don't have rubber grips, but honestly I prefer that, since there's nothing there to get dirty. The feel of the mouse perfectly fits my average-sized hands. It's significantly less wide than most mice, which takes getting used to, but I prefer. The whole mouse has a somewhat rough plastic texture, similar to PBT keycaps, which I really like. Overall, fantastic little mouse.

Been playing counter-strike for decades. Have tried lots of different branding, models mouses like the legend Microsoft intelligence 3.0, razer diamond viper, Logitech 580mx, from those og days up til today’s new tech Logitech g303, zowie ec-2, blah blah blah you name it, I probably have tried. Doesn’t matter how much you paying for your mouse, at the end of the day, does it improve your game and does it suitable for your palm or fingers. This mini mouse fits me perfectly and my game have improved tremendously. It’s super lightweight and sensors are awesome. I’m on 800dpi with 165hz refreshed rate, no glitches no mis-click. For the asking price, well worthy. I have ordered 3 total of same mouses. 2 for myself and 1 for my 8years old nephew. I plan to buy 2 more to spare just in case they are total out from market.

I bought this mouse when it was on discount for cyber Monday since it was only 30 bucks. This mouse is surprisingly nice, better than all of my previous mouses. I always had smaller mice and actually having a large mouse that fits your longer hands is very pleasing. The sensor is amazing, the buttons are highly responsive, and the minimalistic RGB is perfect for me. However, the 8K polling rate can be pretty misleading. In popular first-person shooters like Valorant or Apex and even Minecraft caused my frames to drop and when I moved my mouse it lagged to a point it freezes then unfreezes shortly after. It defiantly a game issue, not the mouse. Many games don't support the 8k polling rate which is causing the immense frame drops. This means half of the time you won't be using it. You will have to drop the polling rate to 1000-2000 to not experience lag in most games using the Razer software (Razer Synapse) But I'm not going to be holding the mouse accountable for that. It's still an amazing mouse even with this handicap.

I picked up one of these for less than $20 repackaged. I've used all of coolermaster's ultralight line up and this model ofders comparable performance. It's a little heavier but a bit smaller, the mouse buttons are better, and it offers only 8500dpi compared to 16000 on the coolermasters. However dpi doesnt really matter and the sensor performs equally well. They offer the same native dpi anyhow. I prefer the smaller size as it allows more mobility with my fingers. I feel my aim improved switching over but the change hasnt been dramatic. Best value in class hopefully quality keeps up. Razer is known for QC problems.

I am not a gamer but I expect the technology I use to work properly, effectively and efficiently if I am going to use it. I love the freedom that comes with using a wireless mouse, but they can be buggy at times and not perform as expected; and that includes the expensive ones. Because of this, I decided to go back to a wired mouse. I watched a few videos on which brands were best and decided that this Razer Viper Mini was made to meet the demands of gamers, even if it was priced for the rest of us. I've only had it a couple of weeks now, but it is a joy to use. It slips across the mouse-pad effortlessly with tracking that is quiet and precise. If you are looking for a mouse that is highly reliable, precise and reasonably priced, the Viper Mini is an excellent choice. Oh, and if you want to test your mousing skills, or test your old mouse compared to your new one, head over to: https://mouseaccuracy.com/ Prepare to be humbled.

Used another old gaming mouse for years that finally started to give out (double clicking, failed tracking, just generally dirty even after cleaning). Knew I had to bop it. Looked up some vids and found this little guy at alot of budget choice tier lists and grabbed it. Ever since it's arrived, I can tell I'm gonna be using it for a loooooong time. It's got nice grooves and bumps, which lets your hand fit snuggly around it. (Btw, you're gonna need to full hand this mouse for best use), it's quick and responsive on all movements and buttons, and finally it just looks pretty cool with it's RGB colors. (You can get a separate app for control over that too!) Def recommend all around. Need a solid mouse that isn't a mini-nuke to your walled? This is it.

This is a fantastic mouse for the price. It's lightweight at 61g and feels easy to control as a result. It is a small mouse (as the name suggests) but is definitely comfortable for the size. The pads on the bottom are good, but not the best. They are smooth but if you want a near frictionless feel, then keep this in mind. They felt smoother after a couple of days of use in my experience. The buttons are all located in a comfortable position with little to no pre/post travel on the left/right click and a bit of post travel on the side buttons. The scroll wheel is a little tight but it's useable. The RGB is simple yet adds an extra bit of color to it, which is nice. As with most mice these days, the sensor is great with a maximum polling rate of 1,000 Hz. It is accurate and there really is nothing to complain about here. It has a maximum of 8,500 DPI but honestly, I don't even come close to that high of a DPI. The software for the mouse is nice and the mouse itself has a button to switch DPI on the fly. My biggest gripe about this mouse would be the cord. While it isn't awful, it also doesn't feel wireless. Something to keep in mind. This wasn't bad enough to drop the rating for me though. Highly recommend this mouse for fingertip/claw grip users. Maybe palm grip if you have small enough hands. Keep in mind that the side buttons are only on the left side of the mouse. It does have a symmetric body but really it is mainly meant for right handed users because of the side buttons.

Really good, albeit with some issues. The cable is very stiff and as a result the kinks from packaging are basically permanent. The shape is not for me (too long and not high enough of a hump to cup with my hand). But 8KHz polling is amazing and the difference in game was instantly noticeable for me. I immediately noticed how much less effort I had to put into aiming to achieve similar results as my old mouse (albeit the shape is worse). The thumb buttons on the other side of the mouse do not interfere with my grip at all, and are a nice touch for left-handed people. I have a 10700K and experienced no issues with any games that I play, such as Apex Legends. I think the people experiencing issues with frame drops have under-powered computers with too much running in the background. Speaking of which, the Razer software is borderline malware with how much of a resource hog it is. Overall, at its current price of $40 you simply can't do better.

I absolutely love this mouse.
