Perfect For People Who Need To Get The Blood Circulating

I know a lot of people think this is going to help them exercise at work, but that isn't what I bought my Cubii Pro for. I've had CFS/Fibro for 25 years. I was simply looking for something I could do while I was sitting to get the circulation flowing throughout my body. I bought the Pro version so I could use an app that syncs with my FitBit.I have two very bad knees and sitting on the couch exercising with this machine hasn't bothered them AT ALL. The first time I used it I was surprised that I really felt it in my inner thighs, but luckily they didn't hurt the next day. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it after the first time as I'm exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 and using the machine even for 15 minutes made my temperature go up more than I cared for it to. I thought getting some exercise would help my body fight the virus, but I guess not. I look forward to using my Cubii Pro as soon as I get that issue straightened out because it's VERY easy to use and as anyone with Fibro knows there is little you can do that doesn't automatically set off your trigger points! In that regard, this seems like the perfect machine to use, at least for me.I love the app - it shows real time exercise - how many cycles, calories burned, etc. as you're doing the exercise. This helps you figure out what resistance you need to use to get the calories you want to burn as you're doing it. When you're done, you simply click the sync button and the exercise is immediately entered into your FitBit dashboard. The machine itself was very easy to set up. You screw in 4 screws that attach the footpads to the base and you're done. Word of caution though, don't expect your grandma to be able to put this together by herself. This is a serious piece of exercise equipment and seems built to last so it's heavy. Now heavy is a relative term. As a 60 year old who has had CFS/Fibro as long as I have and can't take pharmaceutical medications for it my only pain prevention was to move as little as possible. This machine weighs from 25 to 30 pounds so getting it out of the box and moving it around to assemble took some effort. While it has a wonderful, well placed handle to move the item around while you're not using it, if you misstep and the metal part of the machine hits you, it's going to leave a nasty bruise. I use a crutch so my mobility isn't the best. I have to be careful to make sure I'm in a secure position before I move the machine. It's roughly 23 inches front to back and 18 inches side to side and while the handle is perfectly placed, it's still going to be heavy for some people to lift.I saw a lot of reviews that said people bought this as what they thought was an opportunity to do some type of cardio while they were at their desk. This is not at all what I bought it for. I bought it because I'm an older person who needs to keep her circulation flowing, a problem a lot of people have as they get older and less mobile. I'd recommend it for any older person to use for that purpose. Buy it for your aging parents who don't move around a lot, put it somewhere out of the way that they can reach if they swivel their chair around (so they don't have to move the machine itself) and let them go to town. It's very easy on the body and perfect to use if they sit around watching TV all day. It's also good for anyone who sits at the computer all night gaming with a group online. That way you don't have to stop what everyone is doing to get up and walk around. For me, the sturdy build of the machine, the bluetooth connection and the app made it worth the price of the machine, especially for someone with few exercise options. If you love your parents and want to keep them around and they don't seem terribly mobile, this might be a really good option for them as they can do it while they're sitting. As always, consult with their physicians first and make sure you set it up so they can access it without having to move it around (and it's not anywhere they can trip over it). It's definitely worth the effort.

Worth all 5 stars, has some Cons (power related) and comes with unexpected included items.

The headline / subject really covers it all. I have only one concern (see below). It is:1) Easy to assemble. It comes with its own magnetized screwdriver. You'll need to screw the left and right pedals in place, but how to do it properly comes in easy to read instructions.Con: The instructions say to charge the Cubii Pro, but it doesn't help you find the micro-usb port on the Cubii Pro. It is on the right side (as you face it) and in the front. I'm surprised fact Cubii didn't help one find this port considering how detailed the instructions were for the pedals.2) While I've only had it less than 24 hours, it is quiet, period. No noise yet from it and hopefully there won't be in future (see sturdiness / durability).3) It is very sturdy. While the exterior and pedals are made from heavy plastic, the guts are all heavy metal / steel. It wouldn't surprise me if the Pro doesn't last multiple decades.Con: Powering is through a MICRO-usb port! I have no idea how well Cubii built the port, but my experience with micro-usb ports is poor / awful!! I've had multiple cellphones die, simple because the micro-usb port breaks in some manner. I can understand why a cellphone uses a micro-usb port, BUT not the Cubii Pro! The Cubii Pro should be using a charging port that is as sturdy as the steel it uses!Con: The instruction warn you about damage to the unit by over charging it. Given the price we're paying, can't Cubii include the simple circuits to protect the battery? It is both a benefit to the consumer and helps insure the unit won't catch on fire (as say the infamous Samsung Note 8 did a few years ago).************************************************************************************************************************************My biggest fear is the internal guts will continue to work (e.g. the elliptical), but the intelligence will die because there isn't a way to power it. I considered putting this fact in the headline and as part of an opening summary, but the only fear we have is fear, itself.************************************************************************************************************************************Totally unexpected (after reading the product page) is the box includes two chair wheel stoppers. I was seriously considering buying two of these, but considering I plan on using it from a non-rolling chair (or the side of my bed).NOTE: I was pleasantly surprised to find the unit fits under my bed. I purchase the bed frame I'm using on Amazon. It is:"Zinus Demetric 14 Inch Elite SmartBase Mattress Foundation / for Big and Tall / Extra Strong Support / Platform Bed Frame / Box Spring Replacement / Sturdy / Quiet Noise Free / Non-Slip, King"and is another outstanding item sold by Amazon.comWorth noting the mobile app instructions say to download the application from the Cubii website (/app), but the page doesn't work. I ended up having to call Cubii customer service (yes, I thought about checking out Google Play / the iStore), but wanted to insure they knew their instructions have an opportunity for improvement. The customer service person said the web page was suppose to direct you to either the Google Play or iStore (your selection). He said he would report it.Overall I recommend the Cubii Pro, but there is room for improvement - especially in insuring the power system is a durable and the rest of the unit (at least the consumer's perspective of how sturdy it is in the end).

I am impressed! 😊. Love it! 💞

I was a bit nervous about the high price tag. But I have been sedentary for too long and needed some way of keeping fit while seated. I have one of those seated bicycle machines but it's just been gathering dust for years.I must say I'm very impressed so far with the Cubii Pro. It's very easy to use and I can definitely feel my thigh muscles working. For me it's definitely easier to use than my bicycle seated machine.I had been mulling for months about whether to buy this Cubii. The high price tag put me off. I just didn't want it to be another machine that was just left gathering dust in the corner. I don't think this will happen somehow because it's so easy and fun to use. I like that it connects to the internet on your phone and you can check your progress and set targets. That in itself is motivation along with the fact that it's very easy to use and I can feel my muscles working almost straight away.I use it while watching TV after dinner and it stops me feeling sleepy. It is heavy but I would like to move it to the office so I can use it while I work. Tempting to buy a second one rather than keep moving between office and living room.I like it and it's a keeper. I'm very pleased with my purchase and very glad I took the leap of faith. If anything changes I'll keep you posted. I have been using it for 3 days straight now since buying and doing 5000 strides per day on level 1 (baby steps)! My thighs are really feeling it!!! Love it! 🥰Update:. Day 8 and I have been using the Cubii Pro every day. I feel stronger and more energised and today I made over 18,200 strides!! So exciting to be able to view your progress on the app and see in real time how others are doing and try to overtake them on the score board!.Sadly yes there have been Bluetooth connection issues with the app. I keep having to uninstall and reinstall it over and over which can be frustrating. It is great when it works but frustrating with the glitches re Bluetooth. I have no regrets about buying it. Just hope they manage to sort out their glitches.Update: 3 weeks in and still loving it and using daily! I have now done 55 miles and over 300,000 strides in 3 weeks!!;🚵🚵🚵

Cubii Ellittica Perfetta
