I've only turned on this unit three times so far this winter. I have it positioned near a comfortable recliner in a room where I do some reading. I hate the thought of turning on the forced air heating unit for the entire house when I can simply get localized heat from a radiator heater like this. The first use did result in a bit of a new/burning/break-in smell which is to be expected, and did not return on subsequent uses. Quiet, nice-looking, easy to move around if need be. I consider this a great purchase!

Quiet, easy to unpack, assemble, and operate, I especially like the 3 heat settings for mild to serious heat output. I use it in my bedroom near the window to keep that area warm (floor & even that side of the bed gets cold on sub-freezing nights). The only issue with it is I wish it had a light to tell you when it's thermostat is on or off, it just has a power light to tell you it's plugged in and is on/ready. I'd like to know how often it kicks on, and for how long it's on (it uses electricity, you know). I like it, and would buy again if needed.

I bought this heater as an alternative to a fan-operated heater which was a little too loud for me at night. It has worked out quite well. It's nearly silent; the only time it makes any sound is when it's been off for a little while and the metal makes popping noises as it contracts. It probably doesn't heat an enclosed room quite as well as a fan-type heater, but it still does a good job. The heater works via radiant heat, so in addition to using it at night I can put it near my desk in my large living room and it will heat the nearby area quite well. I'm glad I bought it.

It was delivered fast. On day 1, I was a bit skeptical that this heater was going to do the job since it took a little while for the room to warm up. But I had it on continuously for hours and it did warm up the room nicely. I have a baseboard heater and this heater consumes much less energy. If this is your main heater, I'd invest a little more and purchase a digital version which has a programmable thermostat and a remote. But I am still happy with my purchase and highly recommend this brand.

I purchase this with no big expectations, but has surprised me. One single thing, left the radiatior in one corner and will irradiate the heat to all the room, don't expect to have the same effect if you leave it in the middle of the room.

This is my second one. I had to return the first one because it had a really bad odor that didn’t go away. Amazon replaced it no problem. I really love this little heater. It’s made my hole house (900sqft) significantly warmer. I don’t have central heat right now, so this thing is a blessing. And it’s quiet! I have an electric heater as well, but that is so loud compared to this oil heater. It did take a little while to warm up, but it keeps warm so much better than my electric heater. I’m thinking of buying a second one

Perfect for the room I got it for. Note it heats up very well; and that there is no real grip to move the heater around so put it in the space and leave it.

Good safe, oil heater. It is pleasant to look at, the controls are handy, and it is priced right. It is also cheaper to operate than a convection heater.

Really heats nicely, the thermostat works well. Used it all winter to heat 1/2 of my small house. Quality heater!

This rocks! Puts out wonderful heat that fills a large bedroom. I only wish it had a remote control. Aside from that, this is a great product.
