I used to have an oil filled heater years ago. It was bigger and definitely has more oil. I loved it, till I gave it to a young family that needed it more than me. This Pelonis is smaller than I expected and the thin blades and tubes mean it does not have that much oil in it. I expect it to hold the heat for at least 30 minutes after I turned it off, but less than 5 minutes later it is cold to the touch. Which brings up the safety issue. This thing gets hot!!! Even the handle. Almost burnt me trying to move it to another location using the handle. Glad all my kids are grown and no little ones around. I know they will get burn with this. Do not buy it if you have little kids. I did not expect much from this, so not worth returning it. I'll keep using it in our family room. It does work to keep it warm, although not as efficient as my old heater.

This worked great, until it didn't work at all. Heated our bedroom perfectly, but ended up being a waste of money since it's past the return date. 70 bucks gone.

This heater is a great size and was exactly what we were looking for. It worked great for about a month and a half - then it just sort of lost it. When we went to go use it again - it just is not producing the heat. We started out low to "warm" it up - yet it is just not getting there.

Off switch stopped working, it just stays on full blast if it's plugged in! Danger!

Purchased this heater from Amazon last year and it seemed to work fine. Took it out of storage this year and it does not work. I also have another heater that was much cheaper which has worked for over 5 years with no problems. Because the warranty has expired I guess the one year old PELONIS heater will be going to the trash pile.

This thing is so disappointing. It produces modest heat so you need to turn it all the way up. Then - poof - it blows the circuit. I’ve tried it on every circuit in my house. Same result. I also left it on a moderate setting in a 10’ x 12’ room for 3 hours … could barely it was on.

we have had good luck ordering used items in the past. we ordered a black heater and received a white one that was completely covered in dirt and something that appeared to be coffee or hot chocolate all over it. It looked like it had been sitting in an old building or garage for years

Up Dated Review 12/15/2021 --- This PELONIS PHO15A2AGB, Basic Electric Oil Filled Radiator works and keeps the room at the temperature I want with No Problems At All. BUT because it needs to be "3 FEET" away from all walls & it gets "WAY to HOT" to be around my grand children AND IT WILL BURN YOU IF YOU TOUCH IT WHEN IT IS ON. For me it is to "DANGEROUS" to use for condition that it advertised for. Witch is IN HOME USE so I am returning it out of "SAFETY CONCERNS". Remember it does work it just gets "WAY TO HOT" to use in the in house setting. 3 Stars down to 2 Stars because of "SAFETY CONCERNS" Fist Review 12/8/2021 --- Ok so I just opened & set this up in less than 10 minutes. "Great" Then it only took 30 minutes ON HIGH to bring a 500sq foot room from 68.2 up to 70 degrease. "Great" -- BUT I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL because it needs to be "3 FEET" away from all walls & it gets "WAY to HOT" to be around my grand children. IT WILL BURN YOU IF YOU TOUCH IT WHEN IT IS ON. I wish I new this before I got it. But it does heat a very large room in a very short time. I will try it for a few days or a week to see how well it maintains the temperature in the room & how often it needs to come on. I am using a temperature controlled 15amp smart outlet with the Wi-Fi heat sensor on the opposite side of the room to control it. But I do not think I will get over the "3 FEET" away from all walls & it gets "WAY to HOT" But I WILL update this review soon. My heater is NOT the one with the remote so it does go on and off with the temperature controlled 15amp smart outlet with the Wi-Fi heat sensor.
