I have an old house. 1909 old. It wasn't designed with airflow in mind, in fact it still has hydronic heat in addition to a forced-air retrofit. And despite having two heating systems, there are cold spots. I have a couple of these oil-filled radiators and they seem like the safest way to heat a space to me. They get hot to the touch but there are no exposed bright red coils. They're not hot enough to be a fire hazard. They don't use a shocking amount of electricity so they can run on circuits with other things. There's no fan to fail. Except for a slight clicking when the thermostat kicks in, there is no noise. It's basically just like a small hydronic radiator.

I've had multiple Pelonis heaters going back decades in different states, so I was thrilled when I saw the pricing on this model. The product arrived in hardened, substantial manufacturer packing, but was also repackaged by Amazon into a larger more padded box as well. Per instructions, after unpacking I turned the product upside down to easily install the (2) caster wings using wingnuts, and turning it back over you could hear the oil inside sloshing, but nada leaked. I allowed it to set a few minutes, before turning it on and voila, it has worked great on the medium setting for me. The product arrived with zero damage and works as intended. Keep in mind, this is a RADIATOR, there is no fan to blow heat around, and it takes longer to heat than a standard electric heater, but once warm, it stays warm and keeps temp constant, without drying the air. It reached the teens the last two nights and I slept without a blanket. The efficiency of this heater will save me a bundle on gas costs from my wall heater. There is no digital crap on this model either, just simple knobs to turn, reducing risk of breakage. Really pleased so far.

Not the biggest room heater in the apartment, but certainly projects the most continuous warm heat. Have never had to turn the control above medium (live in upstate NY), and the room is already warmer than last year when another oil filled radiator occupied the same space (now retired due to electrical issues). Would highly recommend to anyone looking for continuous warm heat.

I bought this for a 10x14 room that houses young kittens. They like to be kept warm, much warmer than I like to keep the rest of the house. On the heater's lowest power setting (600 watts) and low thermostat setting, it heats the room up quickly and KEEPS IT WARM. I was concern about the safety of having it in the room unsupervised, that the kittens might try to touch the fins and get burned, but they seem to instinctively know not to touch it. It is easy to maneuver. It looks like it is well made. The metal surfaces are smooth and it has a good paint job. I anticipate getting many years of use from it.

I was using a space heater but my eyes were getting so dry. This radiator distributes the heat very evenly through the space. I am surprised how much square footage this little radiator is able to heat up. The space is over 500 square feet and this one radiator does the job. In 20 min I am warm.
