The last two pairs have zippers that failed; bought directly from Levi's

I have worn Levi"s for years, but these will be the last ones I buy. Thread count (thin) has been lowered , results ;; thin jeans.. Already looking at other brands to buy and replace these thin jeans,,I am not telling you something you have not heard already,, Better take care of your old thick jeans,, NEVER AGAIN !!!!!

My husband and I have always worn the trusted Levi brand and wouldn't have considered any other maker. We have spent a fair amount of money over the past 50 years with Levi's. However, this past order of 3 pairs of Levis will be our last. How is a person supposed to carry their keys, wallets and cell phones in such shallow pockets that our cash falls out? I can get that in a cheaper pair of jeans. The Levi logo on my bootie looks great, but green backs falling out of my pockets when I sit down makes for one pricey pair of jeans! I can hardly believe the trusted Levi brand has to cut corners by shaving off 2" of fabric from the pocket length. Come on, guys? Really?

Was happy with the fast delivery and the fit. But after only wearing only a few times a belt loop has already ripped out. I wear a 38W 36L and I am 6' 5" and 235#, so I am not a fat person putting stress on the belt. This is not the first time I have had this issue with the quality of the belt loops ripping out either. But I will not wearing Levi's any more.

Amazing with all the negative reviews that Levi's has not changed the 505 back. This is like Coke messing with the classic Coke Formula. We all know what a disaster that was.

I bought a pair of these jeans for my husband and they are already coming apart - about 2 months old. Jeans in the "old" days lasted for years. Disappointed.

I have been wearing Levi's since 1966 when I bought my first pair of 501's. I've never been disappointed until this last purchase when the 4 pairs of 505's I ordered all came with front pockets shortened 2 to 3 inches (my cell phone dimension) and 2 belt loops removed from the back! This IS NOT PROGRESS. For every penny that was saved on this blatant cheapening of the classic product there will be lost business because I and others will now have to shop somewhere else to find the essentials. Now my pants sag in the rear forming a W over the one remaining belt loop in the rear. Does this suggest that I should shop Wrangler next time? Also, the cell phone must now be removed from my front pocket when I sit down due to the shorter pocket length and the hip joint conflict. Very uncomfortable. PLEASE CHANGE BACK!

I purchased 2 pairs of 505's same size as always buy in store. One pair fits a little too big. The other pair is about 1" larger in the waist and 1 1/2" longer. Problem is Levi's charges about half again as much to return anything. Better off buying in a store where you can try on and return for no charge if need be. How could they be that far off?? Buying online is risky with them.

Why is there only one belt loop on the back of the waist band now? Why has the length of the pocket been shortened by 2-3 inches? I have changed brands of pants for these very reasons. I'm so tired of buying pants with pockets that will not hold the items that I have carried for a lifetime. Very disappointed

After about six years, my previous (and favorite) pair of black 505s bit the dust. I ordered new ones off the website to replace them and when I got them I was shocked by how shallow the front pockets were. They've got to be at least an inch and a half shorter than my previous pair of 505s. Short pockets are not going to work with the ever-increasing size of smartphones. I tried to get used to the short pockets, but they make putting my phone in my pocket really uncomfortable. I haven't been able to buy another pair of Levi's in over two years because of this, and I really need new jeans. I shopped around other brands today, and it seems like everyone is moving to short pockets. Please don't make me find a different brand! I love my Levi's and don't want to go searching for another brand.
