Great style and fit but the weight of the denim is a little light. Wish Levi would offer the heavier weight denim. My husband is a cattle rancher and they just tear up too quick!

These jeans seem to be made of a lighter mater then the jeans I purchased in the past. They also don't fit the same in the waste - larger than my other pairs.

The color is great and as always I like that when you order a pair of Levi's that the sizes never seem to vary. I don't worry about trying them on before washing them. Besides they look great and a good value.

Nice fit, comfortable for me. I like the more relaxing fit in the waist compared toto the 514, but admittedly also a little less flattering if you have an athletic, slim build. These are my work pants, whereas 514 are going out pants. Also, don't pay attention to all the negative reviews. It's mostly people complaining about how 505'saren't the same as they used to be, but all they need to do is take a peek at one of Levis many other styles and they will find what they want.

My husband loves these jeans except they fit kind of big even after you wash then. My husband is a true 36 and they were loser and higher on the waist than the jeans he usually wears. I don't know if they come in a size 35 waist if they do, I will exchange the one he hasn't worn yet if not I will have to return them.

Levis 505 jeans are typically good, but of late, I have received lower quality sewing on some. Jeans size is about true to size but when I purchased a few of the same size, they fit differently demonstrating a size manufacturing issue. Styling is very good and keeps its shape. Jeans are rugged and zipper is reliable and of excellent quality. In spite of minor problems, I still prefer Levis to other brands which have even more problems and become baggy. Levis is my favorite.

My pair came with a zipper that did not move properly at first. After forcing it up and down a few times, it seemed to work itself out. Otherwise, the jeans are exactly what you would expect from a pair of Levi's - good quality and consistent sizing.

I have been wearing the 505 jeans for many years and normally happy, including this time, but it seems with each pair I buy they are tweaked a little. The last few pairs were labeled "Regular Fit" and they seemed to sit at the waist, which I prefer, but now listed as sitting below the waist. I almost hesitated to purchase this time. They do sit lower then I prefer but will admit they are still comfortable. But since Levi is constantly adding so many new styles I wish they would leave alone the styles that already have a following. If they want to change up a style they should give it a new number.

The jeans look great, feel great and fit almost excellent. I ordered a 31 and other jeans I have fit as a 31 perfectly and this runs a little bigger.

Every man should have a pair of these in his dresser. Mine have only faded a little after many washes working at a restaurant, and they keep their classic look and feel after much wear. Recommended.
