Too small...

I ordered 2 jeans'. I have a couple of the same model ans size, which I use frequently. I usually buy in a store however, this time I decided to order on line. One of the jeans arrived a bit small but I think it will be ok. The other one is too small. Actually, it's impossible to wear. I'm surprised of the difference between the 2 items I ordered and from the ones I buy at the store. Be sure, this is the last time I buy online!

Please bring back the old 505's

how come some 505 jeans say straight fit and some say regular fit? I've been reading alot of the revues from people who have the exact problem as I. I to have been wearing 505's for over 40 years, for work and casual wear. Not only is the quality control gotten out of hand(crooked seams, sizing variations) but the cut of the waist compared to my 505's years ago makes it feel like my pants are always falling off. You will still have a market for the older folks if you make an effort to bring back the old 505's( I would venture to guess an even bigger one) since the 505's are a popular working man's jean. At a local 505 seller I saw 2 different signs for 505's, six feet apart. 505 straight fit, sits at the waist. and 505's,strtaightfit sits below the waist. Please bring back the old 505's that sit at the waist!

505 Regulars

Why can't manufacturers leave well enough alone! After looking unsuccessfully for a couple of pairs of 505 Regular fit jeans, I now learn they've been discontinued. I've tried the Straight and Relaxed fit and find them entirely unsatisfactory. The former ride too low and the latter are sloppy. Pity, I've loved my Levis, but now will find another manufacturer to spend my money with.

Don't fit right at all

I am a woman who wears the men's Levi's I have worn levi's for over 24 years. I went to the store and bought a pair of black 505's and found that they were poorly made. the area between the crotch and waist is so tight that I can't even imagine a man wearing these and the thighs were even tighter, but the waste was way too big. I just found out that they changed the design. I had to take them back. There was absolutely no reason to change this design, they are worse than hip huggers that a lot of women wear that is bad for circulation. Very disappointed in Levi's may have to switch to Wrangler's or Lee jeans.

Bring back 505 regular fit

Please bring back the regular fit 505's. I have been wearing 505's for 10 maybe 20 years and I cannot find a pair that feel like they will stay on. The new straight fit feels like they are falling off my waist and the thigh diameter is too small. I am forced to find a new jean.

What have you done to "my" 505 jeans?

I see I'm not alone in my feelings. I'm 60 years old and have literally been wearing 505s for 50 of those years --size 30x34 for the past 45 years. I could actually get angry about this with very little trouble but instead will simply plead with you to please bring back the regular fit. I'm obviously a slender guy but absolutely cannot wear the new "low cut straight fit". I'm not old fashioned at all but let those who want to wear "skinny jean" do so just let me keep my old friends -- PLEASE!!!

505's Ruined

Seems that there is no longer a Regular Fit 505, only the straight fit. I've been wearing 505's for decades, but no more unless they bring the regular fit back. These jeans now sit below the waist, and instead of straight, I'd describe them as tapered (much too tight for my taste)

DIFFICULTY IN MAKING JEANS THAT FIT!

Take note of other reviews here. What can be difficult about making jeans the size it says on the label? 2 pairs of 32 x 32 - except they measure 34 around the waist and 33½ to 34 leg depending on left or right leg measured. So I am joining the many others, who having bought Levis for many years, will not be buying anymore. Catch a grip Levis, before the last one leaves.
