My hubby has exclusively worn Levis 505 jeans since 1985. Amazingly he still wears a 32/34! When I order or buy him jeans, I have to get 4 or 5 pairs in order to get 2 pair that fit. No two pair are the same size and they don't last long either..... belt loops break, pockets rip, snaps pop off. Such a joke! One of these days, I'll convince him to switch brands. I hate spending good money on such a poor quality product!!!

I like the look and style however, I was not happy with the fit. When I ironed the pant the leg seams did not line up, they were twisted which make me believe the pant was irregular. Not acceptable.

The black 505 jeans do not fit like the 505 blue jeans. They are smaller, a 33 waist feels like a 32. If Levi's are of such good quality, how come the sizing is inconsistent?

the rise on theses 505s is still a little lower than the ones from before they changed them. I have kept a brand new pair from 4 yrs ago to measure against. The fabric and quality are fine but for some reason the pockets are only about half as deep. Why can't they just go back to the old pattern completely for this one model ?

Older versions of 505 had nice deep front pockets...these are barely enough for car keys and a fob. Forget putting a cell phone in there unless you have an old school flip phone. Other than the pockets, this pair might be my favorite of all time in terms of fit...but the pockets are a near deal breaker.

Levi's has shortened the front pockets--can hardly fit a wallet. 2 belt loops have also been deleted causing others to fail early.

Bought a pair each of the 501 and 505. The 501 change pocket isn't level with the belt line above it and the red tag on the back pocket that should say "LEVI'S" is inside out so it shows only the registration mark. Sloppy fly button holes. The 505 back pockets are both stitched with two very different thread colors. Tacky. Also, I'd pay up for the former design with the two extra rear belt loops to be reinstated on both the 501 and 505. Like Lee.

Ordered these for my boyfriend in the size he has always wore and when they arrived we discovered they were too big in the waist. Had to drive over a hour away to the outlet store to exchange them

seams on the outside of the right leg go from the hip to the the front above my foot. same on the last three pair. Why??
