I've worn 505 Regular Fit Jeans with a 30" length for many years. However, the pair I just purchased and received is about 2" longer than the 30" I ordered even though the tag reads 30". Either they've changed the styling or this is a mistake.

The 505's are exactly what I was looking for; good fit around waist and the length was right on target. The only things I noticed were: 1. The material was not quite as thick/heavy as it once was and 2. The stitching thread could have been a bit heavier -- both things lending themselves to better durability. Still a good purchase overall.

while I've worn levi's my entire life, I would PLEASE BEG levis to make a low cut (sits below the waist), straight leg, with the buttons found on 501's, available in BLACK, but in sizes those of us who are tall AND skinny can wear. I cannot seem to find a 30 X 36 anywhere, and THAT would be my perfect size. I like a tighter jean, and the 31's I've found fit just a wee bit loose. a lot of us are taller then 34 length, and could use something that will actually fit us. still the best jeans in the world.

I returned these. I consider being loyal to Levi's a commitment that takes some work. I can't count on consistency in sizing, even with same style. These are much like men's 501s, I just prefer the 501s.

I finally found the thicker levis jeans I fell in love with as a kid. would love to see a carpenter version of these jeans, and would love to see more room at the crotch seam so when you step up on something you don't sing soprano.

Would be nice if you had more odd number sizing 38 is tight and 40 is way to big.

I havent had a chance to try them on yet but they look good on the computer screen.

505s have been a classic and the newer version is slightly modernized to fit it a bit low on waist. I really liked the color and the feel of the jeans and the way it falls on the boots. I use it for formal as well as casual dress up and suits both ways.

My jeans fit as expected but wish you offered 35" length in lieu of 36". Oh well, I guess you can't do everything.
