The 505 Regular was a jean I sought out and would not buy another style. The straight fit rides to low. I am now shopping for a new manufacturer. Bad idea to get rid of the regular fit jean.

From looking at the reviews i guess i am not along. I can't wear the straight fit jeans so i have had to switch to Lee's regular fit. I feel they are not as good as Levi's regular fit were, but it is better then using one hand to hold up my pants all day. To bad they lost a 35 year customer.

I have had always enjoyed the toughness and the fit of the 505 regular fit Levi jean. I ordered 5 pair from JC Penny the same size as I have been for 35 years and the fit of the new product is terrible! My body shape has not change, unbelieveable I know..... the inseam is 1 1/2 inches shorter and a call to Levi has me owning the jeans becasue they have gone to a new "hip" fit, and if I would like to change styles they have offered to exhange a portion of the 5, maybe..... DO NOT BUY LEVI JEANS UNLESS YOU LIKE YOR SHIRT COMING OUT AS YOU BEND OVER AND THE LOW RIDE! THEY ARE NO LONGER AN OPTION FOR ME!

These are NOT your old 505s. Why would Levis not put these under a new number. Markering no minds.

I have been wearing only 505 REGULAR fit jeans for as long as I can remember. But for whatever reason Levi's has to change a good thing and change to a Staight fit whatever that's suppose to be. I don't know who in Levi's decided to change but they messed up in my opinion. Going by the number of other reviews it looks like I'm not the only one with this opinion.

First the "straight fit" are NOT the same as the "Regular Fit" and many people still prefer the shrink to fit, like me. Returned all straight fits I purchased. Make what sells for the younger people but don't forget about the long time customers.

Somehow i got a pair each of the "old" 505's and the "new" in black. Huge difference. The old were just what you'd expect, soft comfortable Levi denim. The new were thin and looked and felt like any other low quality jean out there. Definitely not Levi's. There's plenty of Cheap jeans out there if cost is my only concern. Charge more if you have too but don't change what you've done for 100 years to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Bring back the "regular fit". The waistband sits lower on the hips. They feel like I need to pull them up all the time to keep my briefs from showing. Will be returning the ones I purchased.

Bring back the "regular fit". The new "straight fit" feel like they are always falling down and I need to pull them up. They feel awkward in comparison to my old regular fit 505's of the same size.

I'm a woman that wear mens jeans because they always fit me better than womens. I have always wore 505 regular fit 29w 32 L for 40 years. I went to buy some new jeans at Sears and could not find regular fit. The clerk told me that straight fit was regular fit. So I thought l better try them on. They were tight , and didn't want to go over my hips. I could not get them buttoned. l also noticed that the waist ban was a lot lower. I was very disappointed. l guess l will be buy other jeans because yours no longer fit. When something works for so long why change it?
