Size and fit vary by the country they are made in. I find that only the ones made in Egypt fit well. Most other ones the seat and legs are to full. Returned my last purchase, think they came from Lesothos.

I bought 3 pairs of the 505s. I have worn 34x34s for years and the old ones I have fit perfectly. Of the new jeans I purchased, the pair made in Mexico fit best but the left leg twists so the hem is almost all the way in front..boo The other 2 pair "made in Nicaraugua are at least 2 inches too long. Need I say, I am not happy?

The rear belt loops on my jeans keep ripping out at the bottom after a few months. I have never had this problem until the last few years. I thought it was just me until I read the review by AFormerLevisFan. The quality of Levi's is going down.

I must be long waisted because used to wear nothing but 550 s. I lost 50 pounds and went to 505s. Not comfortable, and now I have three pair I do not know what to do with, with the labels still on.

The material and color were fine, but the size and fit was definitely not the 505 fit I have grown to love. I sent the jeans back.

The fit is now tighter through the waist and looser through the legs, especially through the thigh. Very disappointed. I returned them.

Poorly designed,side seam ends up on your front knees

Sits exactly the same as all there other stupud hip hugger jeans. My last levis lasted a long time, but now they are all stupid hip huggers. This is the classic 505 fit. Not low cut. This is supposed to sit at my waist.

The inseam of my last purchase was not sewn, had to be repaired.
