It is very sturdy unlike the one I purchased that would not stick to the dash.

I purchased this for my wife's car around 8 months ago. She travels a lot and she uses her phone for navigation. This held the phone at the perfect height near the dash. It slides on very easy with enough tension to keep it in place. I decided to take it off the dash to detail her interior and the soft pad that comes in contact and protects the dash had somewhat melted/deformed and when I went to reinstall it, it would not stay on the dash. I contacted the company to see if I could purchase a new soft pad for it, and next thing I know they had sent me a complete replacement. Outstanding and quick communication response and product delivery. I recommend this business highly!

I ordered this TWO YEARS AGO for my ford focus hatchback because it has an odd shaped dash built around the touch screen and other phone mounts didn’t work. Additionally, my AC vents run vertical so I couldn’t opt for those mounts either. This was the perfect solution.. until one day (2 years later) it fell apart. I almost threw it away but I decided I’d try to fix it.. I superglued it and it fell apart again. I had almost given up when I decided “I’m gonna take it apart.. I can’t break it any worse” and I ended up finding out that it WASNT broken! The tiny screw stripped the plastic and had no longer fit in the screw hole. Well, I happened to have a slightly larger screw on hand and fixed it. This thing will probably outlive my car!

Finally found one that doesn’t fall

I am an Uber driver. So I need my phone to be up where I can see it but also not blocking my vision of the road. This phone mount clamps on to the dashboard (or where ever works in your car). Since it pivots on a ball socket, you can position it out of the way. The clamp is very strong. So it doesn't move, once it's in place. And you can adjust it, without it popping off. The fact that it's a tight clamp makes it a little hard to open the clamp to put it into place but once you've done it once or twice, it's not so bad. I'd rather it be that tight than to wobble around, once it's installed. It's so much better than the suction cup type, that falls off the windshield whenever you hit a bump in the road. Also, as I mentioned, it doesn't block my vision like the kind that stick to the windshield. Lastly, the price is very reasonable. I absolutely love it!

Okay so I do deliveries from my car and I really like it the very slight curb to it and it has like a soft silicone one the parts that clamp on. The clampness itself is great and study the whole thing in general is great! Now the issue I could see happening is if you constantly need to remove your phone from it you have to wrestle with it because when I say it clamps and gripes it does! So pro’s & con’s y’all. Oh and like a few months ago the silicone grippy parts started coming off but when they came off they weren’t sticky or messy. I had it for a year and it just broke from the tightening part r.i.p. Would I order again? Yes! Did I order again? No…. Why? Because I need it to be constantly opening now.

I see there were slot of bad reviews for this device but I love it!!!! We will see how well it hold up in the Texas sun. Super easy to out together. I have placed right in front of me over the dash but right now the best spot for me (I’m very short) is right above the radio console in the middle. Love it. It rotates up and down and to the side. Can use the phone vertically or horizontally. Love love love!!! It stays put as well. Doesn’t bounce or fall down over bumps and such. I drive a 2013 Honda Accord
