Did not work in my car.

Works great on my mom's '12 Camry, but it falls off instantly on my '10 Accord. I just gave it to her instead.

It worked great until we had a few really hot days in a row and the plastic melted and it will no longer hold onto my dashboard it's junk now very unfortunate

This was the only mount that would fit my truck dashboard that I did not have to stick to my windshield. Unfortunately it causes the video to shake a lot with the road therefore it was no good to me for recording purposes. If you only need it for GPS this will work fine...just not for recording.

Dash mount broke at the curve from repeated installation in 22 months.

I reallt enjoyed this cell phone holder for a bit over a year but then it started to break. The swivel head started losing the grip and would drop my phone while I was driving and needing it for directions. If this is needed for 1 or so years its a great product but longevity is not there for much more.

After having unsuccessfully tried multiple different car phone holders, due to my unusual Volvo dash board, I had high hopes for this one. I measured and made sure I had the necessary space (I do) but this phone holder won't stay put after a few days. The heat in the car seems to affect the adhesive, which starts shifting around and becoming loose. Also, the spring does not seem to be strong enough to hold the phone securely in place. I've tried in different places on the dashboard and the result is the same: holder incl. phone come crashing down. Too bad, a waste of money for me.

It cannot take the weight of the phone when tried to lift it up in vertical position fully extended. It tends to drop down due to weight of phone. I am not sure if I need to adjust the settings and make it tight. Due to the extreme outside heat the iPhone gets too hot when fixed on this and due to high temperature the iPhone switches off, there is no alternative as the phone needs to be fixed on dashboard front of steering wheel.

This is a good concept, and I had bought 2 of these, however I’ve found that they don’t work in many vehicle models, depending on how the dashboard is designed. I’ve often times use this by hanging on top of the rear view mirror if the dashboard clamping method doesn’t fit. I have to search for better options to keep my phone while driving because this one isn’t a one-hand operation.

Works as advertised. BUT, on todays cheapo cars, it's not something you want to mount on a permanent basis, as the tension of the device could over time cause an indentation. I use my on the visor as mounting it in the dash area it blocks my view as I have a truck. So mounting it on the visor is perfect, plus it helps a lot in the morning as it blocks the sun. The rubber grip is a little weak and slips over time, requiring some adjustment. One other issue is it loses it's placement requiring it to be readjusted, would be nice to have a way to tighten the arm from keeping it from dropping. Yes, I would buy it again.
