I order for my work vehicle as travel is a big part of it and a maps or google is used often in a Jeep . As it did not fit on dash as describe it is very versatile and I was able to clip to visor . Worked great ! If your unsure this is versatile

I’ve gone through 4 before I found this mount for my car dash to hold my phone good. The clamp is very strong and your phone stays put no matter what! So happy I found this one!For reference I have a 2014 Honda Pilot.

I have tried a few different cell phone holders for my cars. This one is really great. It is sturdy and the design is very good. It clips on with a strong clip so is secure, and I'm able to adjust it without it moving or coming un-clipped. It was slightly difficult finding a good mounting place, as it requires 2 inches or less thickness, and 2 inches or more depth of the mounting area. But it mounts on the dash in front of me, slightly to the left so it's an ideal location. The thing feels very solid and well made. Kudos to the engineers!

This beats the self sticking models. They don’t last and restrict where you can place them.

This has the best gripper than all the others I have used. The holder is spring loaded so unless that part breaks, the phone is not going to slip. The only thing I have to get used to is there is only one location in my car this will clip to and it's a little further away than I am used to and receives direct sunlight so the phone can get hot.

What I loved about this is that being able to clamp securely to the dash with zero movement of the phone. Instant reorder for my other vehicles.

Fits my '96 Blazer perfectly! No adhesive or suction to malfunction during extreme hot or cold weather. Doesn't block air vents. Doesn't obstruct my view of the road or instrument panel. Perfect location for quick glances at the GPS app while driving. Holds my GS10+ phone in a chunky case without issues. Have not off road tested it yet, but suspect there wasn't be any issues. I highly recommend this phone clip holder!

This is the best functioning, most convenient phone holder I've ever had. From air vent holders to stick-ons, they all suck - and cup holder types are just plain dangerous and really should be outlawed because you have to completely move your head and take your eyes off the road in order to see that low. This holder is perfect because you can mount it on the dash or the visor so you can easily see it without even moving your head. There's no disgusting glue that not only doesn't work but they all look cheap because they are. This holder not only looks awesome but the price is excellent as well, so I recommend this choice.
