Cheaply made

The remote is junk. For the amount of money it costs it isn’t worth it. Assembly takes a while. It feels like it’s going too die after using for a few minutes. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Junk, Buy a Power Wheel!!

My son loves his jeep, rode it almost everyday after I got it for his birthday in July. I soon realized Id have to screw to hood shut in order to keep my son from damaging the fragile wires that are running everywhere under there like I had already done with one of the headlight wires. Fast fwd to Feb, we have afew nice days so I charged the battery up (thats been stored inside all winter) with the external charger I bought for his jeep batteries, hooked it up and the thing wont go. Radio comes on, it sounds like its starting up, push the pedel and nothing! This jeep has been kept inside the garage everynight so no water damage, no signs of chewed wires, nothing! I have a power wheels tractor that has sat out in the rain since the day i found it with a free sign on it that will run just fine when a charged battery is hooked up to it yet I spend $300+ on this for it to crap out after 2/3rds of a year!

Piece of Junk

I purchased this in September of 2018 for my son and it worked for all of 2 weeks. Due to changes in New England weather, it was time to pack it up indoors for the season 2 weeks or so after it was purchased. This was my biggest mistake; you would figure spending $400-$500 on a piece of technology, you would get at least a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. The winter season ended and i decided to try it again but it still won't work. It lights up, you can listen to the radio but it will not drive. Neither the pedal nor the remote control it. Reached out to the seller and they only offer a 90 day warranty; that should have been the red flag for me. Overall, I found it fairly easy to assemble even though the instructions were not very clear; i would assume it would be difficult for the average non-tech person. The car also feels fairly sturdy but it really is a piece of junk if the motor fails just after 2 weeks of use. On a full charge (which takes about 12 hrs), you can get about 25 minutes of driving and not the 1hr the manufacturer claims. I love the radio, usb connectivity and the headlights functions. Pretty cool add on

I have been so excited to put these together that I actually pulled them out today just to check it out well I found a few things that I was not too happy about 1 one of the side mirrors has something ...

The media could not be loaded. I actually bought 2 of these.. One black and one red... For my niece and nephew for Christmas... I have been so excited to put these together that I actually pulled them out today just to check it out well I found a few things that I was not too happy about 1 one of the side mirrors has something black all over it I have attached a photo that shows what I'm talking about I have tried to get the black stuff off it will not come off. 2 I have noticed that under the hood there is only one speaker however I am showing that there is another spot where a second speaker could go should there be another speaker? 3 as I am pulling the Jeep out of the box I noticed that the back of the jeep has scratches all over it there are scratches on the front and the hood as well but they are not as bad as the scratches on the back has anyone else had any of these issues? I have not put them together yet and I do not plan to until it gets a little bit closer to Christmas time however I am just disappointed I have not even taken the red one out yet to see it if it is the same or not. Anything that you pay over $200 for should be in better shape than what these are if anyone can tell me how many speakers are supposed to be in these Jeeps that would be wonderful

Built to break down

I’m confused. Is this only built to last barely a year? We bought this as a Christmas gift in 2020 and by the next fall it wasn’t working, despite making sure it stayed charged up and in our garage when not in use. This was way too much money for something that wouldn’t last. What a disappointment for my four-year-old.

Product description is very misleading

Bought this Jeep for my four and a half year old son, he picked it out himself. I based the purchase on the reviews and the product description. When the Jeep arrived, I opened the box and there were a few pieces that were covered in scratches. I contacted best choice products and they offered $60 to keep the Jeep with the scratches. That was just the beginning of the problems though. The remote control that came with the Jeep did not work so they had to send me a replacement. Once I got the replacement I synced it with the Jeep and thought everything was good to go. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. The Jeep is supposed to have three speeds, but unfortunately it only had two very low speeds. I contacted the company yet again, they offered a refund since there were so many problems with the Jeep. I was going to take that money to buy him another 12 volt ride along vehicle, but then two days after best choice products offered the refund they decided that they no longer wanted to refund the money. I hope your experience was better than mine and that if you do decide to get this Jeep it actually works. UPDATE,,, spoke with a manager about the issue and she completely understood my frustration with the product and took into consideration that numerous Representatives for contacting me in regards to the situation. She was more than kind and worked everything out with me. I have purchased everything from book stands to toy shelves from this company and this one manager was able to restore my faith with this company. Thank you

Sadness

Talk about taking the joy out of giving a gift! Our Jeep arrived on time but as we're trying to get it ready to put together we quickly realized that there were no instructions, there was no hardware, we had four wheels but missing the four hubcaps. Then once we found out we were also missing the side mirrors we called customer service. Matthew was very nice but we ended up just returning the jeep because the replacement would be another ten days before it arrived and the main gift would be missing from the grandsons birthday. We spent much time trying to get everything back in the box. Imagine how fun that was. Oh yeah...one of the four hollow wheels had something broken inside so every time the wheel rotated, we would have had the pleasure of listening to the rattling, forever. Would I recommend the item? Yes, because the jeep is so cool (even though we were never able to test it out), but allow EXTRA time for fixing possible errors from this company because obviously there isn't quality control before it leaves the warehouse and have patience in case you have to deal with the hassle of missing pieces and sending the entire thing back.

Somewhat Flimsy...

Well, for starters the front right wheel started to peel apart (the wheel comes pre-assembled but it is two halves simply pressed together), and shortly completely pulled apart. Simple fix, glue it. It broke open again. Went to return it and would have had to pay well over $100 for shipping as S/H is not covered. I used 6 long screws and nuts to keep the halves together and the vibrations from driving eventually shook the nuts off. So I combined the ideas, got more nuts and tightened them all on and then smothered them in glue. Problem solved. Then both of the front wheels started to show a lot of positive camber. this was caused by the metal bump on the steeering rack not being large enough to stop the plastic wheel from being pushed over it. This was fortunately much easier to fix with some metal washers between the metal bumps and the front wheels. Then the latest, slight water damage. My kid loves to lift the hood and look at the "engine" in his sick whip, right? Well hes a kid and leaves it open a lot. We were having fun with the sprinkler in the back yard and the "engine" compartment got a little wet. No exaggeration, it barely had a few sprinkles on it, as the sprinkler was never hitting it directly. The the lights worked, the radio stopped, the horn would play on repeat indefinitely if you touched the button once, and ofc the drive and reverse functions were gone. Lucky for us it dried out and worked in a short 3 days. Bottom line, this thing is bad ass but is most certainly not rugged or tough. Do not buy this expecting it to be like the jeep of the ride on world, because it is certainly a pavement queen.
