Not a great product and a terrible return policy. What a JOKE

We opened the box and put the jeep together and nothing worked after the charging time of 12 hours. We are attempting to return this product and they tell me we have to take it apart and return it to BCP in Indianapolis, IN. We won't receive our refund it delivers to them , meanwhile my grandson is out the jeep that he was supposed to have for his birthday!

It came without the front axle!

UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with customer service. She was very polite and helpful. I received the front axle in 3 business days. Assembly was easy and the truck seems to be of good quality. I can not comment on the performance of the vehicle at this time because we haven’t been able to deliver it. We ordered this for our grandson's birthday and was very excited when it arrived. When we started the assembly imagine our surprise when there was no front axle!! We planned a weekend around his birthday and giving him his jeep. Now it's not going to happen, very disappointed!! Even his parents were excited about him receiving this gift. Depending on the response and how quickly they get us the missing part will affect how I change this review.

This is a piece of junk and you will regret buying it

Like many others, I was excited after putting this together. It looked good. But also like many others, I am so bummed out that I wasted $300 for something that is completely useless. Battery is junk and the entire thing is fried. Lights turn on but that’s it. No other functionality. Total piece of junk.

Less than 5 months!

Bought late April and now no matter how long we charge the battery it will not take. We have used it maybe 5 times. Grandson spent the weekend with us and it was completely useless. Charge Friday, dead!! Charged Saturday, dead!! Now Sunday morning and take a guess.... Dead! Battery will not charge! Completely disappointed and dissatisfied with it. Received a response from the company asking me if I had followed all the guidelines in the instructions. Yes we have. Has been used at least once a month since purchase. Always charge it at least 15 hours or more before use. Bottom line is battery will not recharge. For the amount paid you expect longer years.

Breaks after a few months and customer service is CRAP!

This truck was amazing. We purchased it at the end of March and received it the first week of April. One box arrived first then another came a few days later. Very confusing as I was only given ONE tracking number. Assembly was easy, took maybe an hour or less. It was great the first two months of use! Then it started getting hot outside so we didn’t go in the back yard as much. We brought it into the garage for storage and it has never been in the rain. Flash forward to October when we wanted to bring it out again and all of a sudden the steering does not work at all. Nothing has happened to it, it’s just been sitting in the garage. It has been charged and the battery works fine. When I use the remote to steer for my son, it just makes a really loud buzzing noise and doesn’t turn... this renders it completely useless as it doesn’t really even turn when he tries to turn it himself. Upon calling customer service, which is a random call center, they said the warranty is 60 days and 90 days unless you buy a protection plan. She offered to troubleshoot with me (which I had already done) using the same manual and steps I already had. “I am sorry there is no troubleshoot step for the steering not working so we cannot help you. You are way out of warranty.” And that’s what I got. $250 and 2-3mo of use after proper storage etc. My husband is going to check out the steering motor and see if he can fix it. If not, trash it is. Spend your money ELSEWHERE.

Terrible customer service

Purchased the jeep in July of 2018 (along with a 3 year Square trade warranty) for my boys 2nd birthday. After assembling I was very impressed with the product and looked forward to seeing my son enjoy it. After 3-4 months of use and keeping stored indoors the jeep completely quit working, I tried troubleshooting to see if it was a simple fix but had no luck. Contacted square trade to start a claim, only to have them tell me that since the item was less than a year old the manufacturer would take care of the problem. Contacted Best Choice Products and they began the return process, at first they wanted me to take it to a local store to have a diagnostics done on it, no stores in my area does this and I find this very silly to have to do. After a lot of back and fourth with Best Choice they finally send me a return label and want me to ship the item back completely assembled. Ok sounds good, but little did I know it would take me a couple months to find a box/ crate big enough for the jeep (Had to pay for the shipping crate out of pocket). Got it packaged up and dropped off at local FedEx. After almost 6 months of no response from Best Choice or no new Jeep arriving I inquire to see what the problem is. They say that the Jeep never arrived and Fedex has no idea where it is. After doing everything I could do on my end they still failed to send a new Jeep or atleast offer a refund. Completely disgusted with the customer service and the outcome of my return.

BATTERY DIED LESS THAN 3 MONTHS IN

It worked great for the first 2-3 weeks. Shortly after obtaining the Toy car and using it for a few weeks the battery started lasting less and less. Now the car charger doesn't turn a light on as if it's charging but the battery does retain charge, however the charge doesn't last more thana few minutes at most when it used to last several days of casual usage (10-15 mins at a time). I would not recommend this product if it's only lasting this amount of time. I'll be seeing if I can get a warranty for the battery or charger via the company and will update this review accordingly.

SHAM COMPANY!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

We bought this "Jeep" for our daughter for Christmas 2017. It was a hit! She loved it. Putting it together was not a problem. Everything seemed great. Well, here we are less than 30 days out of the 90 day warranty, and we have a parts issue. The part is a factory part, pre-assembled prior to shipping. It's the front right axle area, the part that holds the tire on. It looks like they used, (for lack of a better word or known name for part) a grommet type fastener. From looking at it, it appears the grommet wasn't fully 'mashed' and didn't create a great hold on the part. Now here we are about 4 months out from Christmas and the wheels are falling off. Called Best Choice Products to ask about this issue, was told there is nothing we can do, other than buy a new one, or fix it ourselves. We are outside of the 90 day warranty, and the actual company that makes these ride on's are 'over seas' is what we were told, and also that we would have to just 'try and look up part on line, since they do not actually have 'parts' or front axle parts.' This is so disappointing on so many levels. First, my 4 year old daughter is the shy type and is only just now getting comfortable riding and driving it, so she has yet to be 'rough' or ride it crazy, 'until the wheels fall off' !!! Second, we lost EVERYTHING in hurricane Irma, and had a very VERY limited budget for Christmas, this was her big gift, and honestly one of her only. It's terrible that a big company such as Best Choice Products sells these items they purchase, but don't think far enough down the road that maybe some people may need replacement parts. I will never buy anything again from this company, and I have and will continue to tell people not to purchase from them as well. I am not hard to get along with, but on top of the disappointment, the customer service was terrible when calling and she didn't even offer anything to help, except by telling us we could do our own search online for the part.

Decent product, unhelpful customer service.

Overall this has been an okay product. The quality is what you would expect for the price point and you can spend a little more to get a better version. My issue is with customer service. The rear lights just snap into place, nothing holds them in tightly. At some point during completely normal use, not rough housing or doing anything that would put undue pressure on the assembly, one of the lights fell off. I have a 4 year old and we use this to walk about a quarter mile on a trail. I can't stress enough how little use this thing has had so I was disappointed when I noticed a light had fallen off on one of our trips. I reached out to customer service to try and purchase the missing component and they told me I needed a warranty. When I reached back out a second time I explained I wasn't inquiring about warranty work, I wanted to purchase the missing component outright and they simply refused. If you can't get replacement parts from the manufacturer and need a replacement part, you're out of luck. I would understand if I was refused for trying to get something for free, but trying to purchase it and being refused is a bummer.

Disappointment after disappointment !! With UPDATE

So I have many things I’m not happy about and I wasn’t even gunna complain about it because it really is the only power wheels that works for us here. We don’t have an asphalt driveway, it’s rock, and we live on a farm so it’s mostly grass so this ride really does good on grass and what not... here’s what I’m upset about though. I’ll start from the beginning. When we ordered this it was a guaranteed delivery by Wednesday. (We either ordered it on that Saturday or Sunday before) Well Wednesday comes and long story short it didn’t come. I went to check my order status and seen there was no tracking info... so I called amazon who then contacted BCP, who then contacted me and pretty much gave me the worst response... On top of the god awful reply I got, THEY HADENT EVEN SHIPPED IT OUT YET!! so then it was suppose to be here Friday, which then turned into it showing up on Saturday.... I was upset and still BCP gave me, what seemed like, another automated GOD awful reply through email.... I kind of was just like whatever at that point. We were just happy it was finally here and my son was super excited... anyways, it gets here and the back light is broken and hanging off by a wire, and there’s screws all over the place... again, I let it slide since my son was just way to excited and I wasn’t gunna go through the process of sending it back OR EVEN sending them an email bc I would have just got another cruddy reply.... so we let it charge for the full time and it runs great. Then I go to use the remote to turn my son around andddd it barely works at all... what I mean is, when I go to turn him around HE IS ABLE TO turn away and keep on going in the direction he’s going. Like I said earlier we live on a farm so it’s not hard for him to start to go far, which is why I was most excited about the remote, and it ended up just being another thing to add to the list of disappointments with this car. So after about a week of him using it and us charging it over night, the battery now only last for about an hour AT MAX ! I’ll never EVER order a BCP again. We spent all that money for what? Them to not ship it on time? The car to come with a broken headlight? Get a cruddy remote and battery? Yeah, never again. I would have felt way better about this if their customer service was at least up to par but it’s not. so, you guys make your own decision on whether you want to buy it or not. But for me, this is the last time they’ll get a dime from us. UPDATE 01/16/20 I meant to update this a while ago but I had forgotten. Anyways, acouple of months after we got this, maybe 2-3 months, the battery went bad. the battery was only letting it run for about 10 minutes, so we had to buy a replacement one. Again, I still feel as I did when I posted this. It’s junk.
