Fenix
This ride on turned out to be quite a bit of a disappointment! ASSEMBLING - I'm a very technical person. I'm a professional firefighter and a do it yourself home owner. I put it together in about 30-40 minutes, but based on the instructions provided I can 100% acknowledging that any person with not such a technical knowledge background would really have problems understanding the instructions. Very vague and poorly written. Quality - Putting this together I can tell you that the parts are very cheap and the quality does not appear to be there for a product you expect will last. CUSTOMER SUPPORT - I had an issue with the battery to start of with. I spent about 3 hours on the phone trying to get proper support on their chat que system since it was the only way to get a live response. Once I finally go ahold of someone, they were absolutely no help and just answered questions per what the instructions say and had no true technical support to offer. EASE OF USE & SAFETY - Once I put it together I realized that this product was truly a very cheap product that is over priced!!! Unlike most ride ons the battery can not be removed and you have to literally plug the whole vehicle to the wall. The charging cord is only about 5 ft long so you'll need an extension going across your floor or will need the ride on close to the wall. The steering is pretty poor. I spent the entire time steering left, right, left, right, left, right... on a straight sidewalk because the steering doesn't return to the straight position after a turn. It forces you to go left or right... It will NOT stay straight! There is also a good 5 second delay to stop it so this could be VERY dangerous if your child is on it and about to get into a potentially dangerous situation. 5 seconds may not seem like much but when your child quickly turns on you and is about to jump a curve it's enough to matter! THE POWER - WHAT POWER???? I spent the extra $90 for the faster version if the two "jeep" models (a total of $270) they have because it "supposedly" was faster. This was by far the biggest disappointment of this product! My daughter is 55lbs. We raced on grass. She rode her power wheels KFX which was actually cheaper than this ride on. With 55lbs of weight on her power wheels and absolutely no added weight to this ride on she blew this poor product away. This ride on barely delivers the top speed advertised on a absolutely perfectly leveled asphalt or cement surface. On grass with absolutely no rider and no weight added this thing barely moves. Once our 55lb daughter sat in it it turned into a $270. Paperweight! What a major disappointment!!!

1.) The Jeep is too wide to fit through any door your house has. You will have to lift this 40+lb Jeep on it's side and drag it throught the doorway on the floor, scratching the wheels. It has to be kept either outside or in your garage. 2.) The remote control will not prevent the child from operating the Jeep by himself despite you trying to control it. For example, if you direct it to go left, he can easily counter steer it to the right. The only thing he can't control is your being able to stop the Jeep. 3.) When you stop the jeep, it stops instantly causing the child to lurch forward. 4.) The stiff springs make no difference in the ride. They are too stiff and the Jeep rides hard. They should have been made longer and softer. There is no padding in the hard plastic seat. 5.) Sometimes the Jeep will just shut down and refuse to go. After repeated tries, it will start going again. 6.) It has a huge turning radius so you need a large area to turn it around. It will not make any tight turns. 7.) The rear wheels are permanently attached to the motors which makes it very difficult to manually push the jeep. It does not freewheel. The only way to move it is to lift the rear of the Jeep up off the ground while carrying and pulling it back to wherever you want it to be. If the battery dies and you are a distance from your vehicle or house, you will have to lift the rear wheels off the ground while you carry and pull it on its front wheels back to your SUV or truck 7.) It will not fit in an SUV unless you put the rear seat down. If you do that, the child seat which is supposed to be in the rear seat for safety reasons must now be put in the front seat. This Jeep is only good for someone with a VERY large yard, or on sidewalks, or to be taken to a public park. You cannot transport it in an SUV unless you fold down the rear seat of the SUV, which will then make it impossible to have a child seat on your rear seat.
